Hadera
As we continue praying for the peace and salvation of Israel one city at a time, this week we focus on a place known for it’s new beginnings and hard Times. Located on the West Coast of Israel taking up 7 km of the Mediterranean Sea, this city is the epitome of the Zionist dream and the courage it takes to see that dream come to pass. The land was bought and establishedd in 1891 as one of the first Zionist groups to return to Eretz Israel before Israel becoming a nation once again.
Through many years of terrorism and recent attacks and death throughout the past 20 years, Hadera has faced and stood against the worst of attacks, but regardless of the hardship and the city literally arising out of what was once swam land, Hadera now has a population of more than 100,000 people and boasts one of the most robust economies in the country.
As we finish out this Biblical month of Cheshvan we remember to pray especially for Hadera, as this month is the eight month, a month of new beginnings, for a place that rose from nothing to become what Zionists had envisioned as a place of greatness from humble beginnings.
With a population of mostly Ethiopian and Eastern European Jews, this unlikely combination of people has become a family of upstarts and people who know how to start from scratch, a people who need to know the salvation of Yeshua, and the reason we write this today. Pray for Hadera, so that such a strong people would come to know their true Messiah, Yeshua, and for the salvation of Israel to become a reality in these end times. God bless Hadera and may the glory fo God fill its borders. Adonai bless you and keep you!
