Pray for Netanya
This week we continue praying for the salvation of Israel one city at a time. Netanya, meaning Gift of God in Hebrew, is located just north of Tel Aviv on the Mediterranean Sea and has a special destiny in Adonai. It was the first city to be designated a city when Israel was newly established as a country, and is now the 7th largest city in Israel.
The Ophir Diamond Polishing Plant was the beginning of Netanya becoming the main city where diamonds are cut and polished in preparation for being sold at the diamond market located in Tel Aviv. On top of that Netanya is also the place where Israel’s first stock exchange was built. Netanya is also located on the plain of Sharon made famous by the Song of Solomon 2:1 that says “I am the rose [of the plain] of Sharon, The lily of the valleys [that grows in deep places].”
However the plain of Sharon is also synonymous with Acts 9:34-35. “Peter said to him, “Aeneas, Jesus Christ heals you. Get up and make your bed.” Immediately Aeneas got up. Then all who lived at Lydda and the plain of Sharon saw [what had happened to] him, and they turned to the Lord.”
Netanya is a prophetic picture of the Bride of Yeshua that is being shaped and polished as a diamond, a place where Yeshua is coming visit in power, miracles, signs, and wonders so that many will turn to Him for salvation, transformation, and the infilling of the Holy Spirit. We pray for the salvation of Netanya and for the Bride of Yeshua there to arise and shine, to get up, make the bed, and tell everyone of the savior of the world, the Bride-Groom, Yeshua Ha’Mashiach. Let us pray in one accord for Netanya to be saved in Yeshua’s mighty name! Adonai bless you and keep you!
