Nissan 5782

Month 1 on the Biblical calendar has begun, and it is not something fun for everyone. There is some panic in the air and some people are scared things may escalate beyond repair. All this is possible and may come to pass, but what is God’s blueprint for Nissan for us to prepare? The constellation and the Feasts align perfectly this month and speak clearly about what our focus should be on. The Lion of Judah is roaring over the nations and the blood of the Lamb still speaks better than that of Abel (Matthew 12:24). The Shmita Year has not let up, and what was warned about before is just warming up. In the span of just a little over a month the former global narrative was suddenly defunct. Now a new line is read and we are all captivated, not realizing it’s dividing the remnant more than COVID ever has. Despite all the chaos and distractions we are promised shalom, but this takes trusting God and knowing you are not alone. It’s time to find this place before it’s too late so that fear, hate, and worry don’t turn you the wrong way. As one body in Yeshua we step through this Nissan gate marching in step, “Yo left, yo left, yo left, right, left.” As one we move while the Lion of Judah forces the enemy to panic and run.

The Lion and the Lamb

The ram (lamb) is once again in the stars above us as it is every Nissan. Now two years after a global Pesaj (Passover) with the whole world on lockdown, we have reached the fever pitch of the exposure of the fallen kingdom’s true plans and intentions around the world and things have come full circle this Pesaj (April 16-23). Now more than ever, we have to ask ourselves if we are feeling the safety the Israelites felt with the blood of the lamb on their door posts, or the uncertainty of the Egyptians who had no clue what would come next? On the other hand on the same day more than a millennia later, are you feeling like Yeshua’s disciples, seeing Him crucified on Pesaj, the Lion of Judah completely crushed? Dismay was their reaction unlike the Israelites of the Exodus, but of course that all changed when Yeshua revealed Himself alive and reminded them all He had said about that very thing coming to pass.

At this moment, in this very precarious time of the world, we must not forget that Yeshua is alive, and our actions and reactions as the Body of Messiah should provoke every non-believer into knowing the same. As we enter Nissan, let us not enter this Biblical New Year in dismay or fear, but rather rejoicing and walking confidently in the shalom of the the Holy Spirit, the Living God of Israel, knowing the blood of the Lamb has made us a new creation, and that we are led by and have been given the power to roar and take dominion like the Lion of the tribe of Judah. His roar will shake the nations this Nissan physically and spiritually, and we are joining Him. The tribe of Judah represents the month of Nissan, a reminder that we are of a Kingly line, heirs of God and co-heirs with Yeshua.

The Shmita Year Plays Out

Since the onset of the war in Ukraine, the Shmita year has taken a turn for the worse on a global scale. Due to sanctions of every type against Russia, the destruction of a massive amount of Ukraine’s infrastructure and 4 million refugees fleeing, there have been serious consequences to every sector of the global economy. Oil prices hit records, stock prices tumble, food prices soar, etc. Now food insecurity is so high that many countries are prioritizing the offloading of things like corn and fodder to make sure farm animals have enough to eat. Major producers and exporters of fertilizer like Russia and China have almost completely banned exports due to shortages and farmers around the world are complaining of very high prices or there being no fertilizer at all. To top it all off major food producing countries have been experiencing drought for consecutive years forcing them to make hard choices about what to plant and not planting fields at all. All of this as we enter into the month of Nissan, the first Biblical month when the last plague hit Egypt and the first ever Passover was celebrated in preparation for the people of Israel to finally go free. There may still be time to practically prepare, but that window is rapidly closing as the price of everything goes up and inflation continues to skyrocket, as well as serious energy insecurities throughout the world. This will continue, and remember the Shmita year ends on September 26th, so there is still a 6 month window of time until then beginning April 1st. A lot can happen between now and then. The global Egyptian system is being judged.

Global Narrative 180 Degree Shift

COVID-19 in most western countries has become a thing of the past all of a sudden since the Ukraine War began, with little to no talk of it anymore on the news and countries are now admitting to the ineffectiveness of lockdowns and mask mandates even though this was common knowledge nearly a year ago. Now suddenly there has been a global shift in the narrative after two full years of constant coverage and unprecedented state control and censorship of people around the globe. Now it’s time to move on though and act like all that is just a bad memory. What is now at play between Russia, Ukraine and the collective west, is a catalyst for the nations of the world to openly begin vying for control of the new economic world order that is currently taking shape. What was behind the scenes is becoming plane for everyone to see who takes whose side. And when the house of cards comes crashing down, where will they fall is the question. And what’s more, are you, and is the global body of Yeshua ready to see this as a huge opportunity for a great harvest of global salvation, or give into the fear of the situation? Just as it was Israel’s opportunity to be blessed when they left Egypt when the Egyptians gave them their valuables, gold, silver and jewels, we must be ready to receive our inheritance both natural and spiritual this month of Nissan as well. The only way to do this is as one without political agendas, taking sides, or picking up offense. Now is the time to be a citizen of heaven declaring what God is saying from the throne. Salvation, Salvation, that’s what satan is afraid of and he wants to steal, kill, and destroy this generation because he is terrified of us realizing through Yeshua we have already won. Don’t get distracted, come up here, and you will see it all very clear.

From Safe to Shalom

We are saved by the blood of the Lamb, but we are also promised a continuous rest or shalom in Him even in the midst of adverse circumstances, but in order to truly have shalom in Him the fullness of faith in Adonai is required. In this season He is saying to us, “Do you trust Me?” Sometimes we give into doubt and fear, but that is not from Adonai, and as we rest in the full assurance of His promises for each of our lives as His children we can have the same shalom of Shadraq, Meeshack, and Abednigo in the flames. Can we be like Jacob in the wilderness who while he slept Adonai said to him, “ I will give to you and to your descendants the land [of promise] on which you are lying” (Genesis 28:13)? As C.H. Spurgeon so eloquently said it, “If you can, by faith, lie down on a promise, and find rest in it, it is yours.” This month we go from simply safe to shalom and restful assurance of the immense promises of Adonai for our lives.

Conclusion

The giants in the land say one thing while the God of Israel says another. Who will we bow to and believe this Nissan? Will it be the giants who Adonai said He will crush before Him, the ones who mock Him and His armies? Who will we believe and bow to? The inheritance before us is immeasurable and this is the time to take it for the glory of the Most High. Pesaj is once again upon us, and we get to choose how we will celebrate our Risen King Yeshua, not those who we are meant to fight against, namely “the rulers, the authorities, the powers of this dark world and the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms” (Ephesian 6:12). This Nissan we see our inheritance from the mountain tops and swoop down to take it roaring like the Lion of Judah as He makes the impossible look easy in our obedience to His voice in the power of His great might. If God is for us who can be against us brethren? We look to the throne of YHWH in fear and awe, in adoration and worship, and when we look back down to the earth at the frailty of His enemies in comparison, we understand why “He who sits [enthroned] in the heavens laughs [at their rebellion]; The [Sovereign] Lord scoffs at them [and in supreme contempt He mocks them]” (Psalm 2:4) Let’s go up to the Mountain of Elohim together this Nissan and get on the same page as our God, the Master of the Universe, the God of Israel. Adonai bless you and keep you kingdom family!
