We left Singapore today after a whirlwind of divine appointments both physical and in the Spirit, and our minds were blown yet again by our King Jesus. On our flight to California we had a layover in the Philippines, our 12th nation thus far on the Asian worship tour.
We knew it was no coincidence that we would be in the Philippines for some hours, and began to ask the Lord why He sent us here now even though we would return soon. As we were landing Lion received a vision of many scepters hitting the ground in quick succession, then a man wearing a white and blue talit standing in a green field in front of a tall volcano covered in lush green trees and foliage.
The man raised his staff above his head and began to shout with joy, a victory shout to the Lord, and as he did the Holy Spirit washed over Lion like a strong wave in the Spirit. In the same moment as Emmanuel was praying, he had a strong impression of an earthquake in the Spirit in the Philippines. After discussing this with one another and asking the Holy Spirit for understanding, we understood that the Philippines was in the midst of a great shift in the Spirit.
Today, it turns out is the last day of the month of Sivan and is Rosh Chodesh, the end of one month and the beginning of another. Every Rosh Chodesh the Shofar is blown, symbolizing the end of one month and the transition to the next, signaling an end to the old and welcoming the new.
It is also the 120th anniversary of the independence of the Philippines, a very important and significant period of time biblically. Firstly, Moses was 120 years old when he died and Joshua and Caleb entered the promised land, the beginning of a new fearless generation. There were 120 in the upper room on the day of pentecost when the Holy Spirit descended upon them, ushering in a new covenant and fulfillment of a promise of God.
Today is also the 13th of June and when you add the two numbers together it equals four, meaning door or gate in the Hebrew, a time to enter into a new season, and it just so happens that this day signals the end of the 3rd biblical month and the start of the 4th. the number 12 is also recurring with 120 years since independence and this being our 12th nation, we see the emphasis on unity in the bible related to number 12 with the 12 sons of Jacob, 12 tribes of Israel, twelve stones in the ephod, 12 disciples of Yeshua, 12 layers of 12 stones in the new walls of Jerusalem, etc.
The main point being that this is a time of unity in the Body of Christ like never before. This unity will see the rising up of the Joel 2 generation in the Philippines who are full of the Holy Spirit, bold in their faith, and fearless to do what Adonai is calling them to do. An army is rising up in the Philippines, so watch closely what happens in the coming days and weeks in this East Asian nation. Amen!
