Pesach 2026: Deliverance in the Midst of Global Shaking

As we enter the sacred season of Pesach, we are brought back once again to the defining moment of deliverance in the story of Israel the Exodus from Egypt. This is not merely a historical remembrance, but a living testimony of God’s power to redeem, restore, and bring freedom where there has long been bondage.

The Exodus from Egypt was more than a physical escape; it was a divine declaration. After generations of oppression, God intervened decisively, breaking the grip of Pharaoh and leading His people into a new identity. Passover reminds us that no empire, no system, and no season of suffering can ultimately stand when God determines it is time for freedom.

At first, it reminds each of us that every nation and people share in the freedom and liberty that Yahweh brings. But now it goes deeper and is all the more relevant for every nation, tribe, and tongue and for what is to come. This brings us to the sacrifice of Yeshua on the cross. Just as the blood of the Passover lamb marked the homes of the Israelites and spared them from judgment, so too the cross represents a greater deliverance freedom not only from physical oppression, but from sin and death itself. The Exodus becomes a prophetic shadow of a redemption that reaches into every generation.

Israel in Focus

Today, that reality speaks powerfully into our world and the current global upheaval we are all experiencing. Israel continues to endure the strain of conflict and the threat of constant attack, with families living under a level of uncertainty and fear greater than in previous wars, both recent and decades past.

At the same time, the people of Iran who have lived under decades of restriction, hardship, torture, fear, and the inability to speak or protest freely, or even to live in freedom carry a deep longing for dignity, peace, and a future marked by hope. A future where the blood of Yeshua is forever over their doorposts.

But now, we must look beyond the rhetoric and posturing of national and global politics and see with the heart of the Father for each nation our own included to know how to pray. Fear, doubt, hopelessness, and all manner of emotions, circumstances, and situations will not make our prayers effective. Only through relationship knowing God personally here and now, and understanding His heart for the destiny of each nation will we pray effectively and in unity with one another in the oneness of the Holy Spirit.

Let us roar together in this way not in futility, but in partnership with the Lion of Judah.

Not Just Israel, but the Nations

Beyond the headlines of conflict, a wider shaking is being felt across the nations.

Across Central and East Asia, millions are now facing the ripple effects of a global energy crisis. Oil supplies have been severely disrupted, and prices have surged dramatically, with some regions experiencing costs that have tripled or quadrupled. Essential goods are becoming increasingly expensive, and throughout the region, people are fearful of civil disorder, riots, and looting in the days ahead.

In countries heavily dependent on imported fuel, the strain is profound. Factories are slowing or shutting down, households are struggling with rising costs, and even basic necessities from food to transportation are becoming harder to afford. We ourselves recently traveled to the Philippines on assignment, and while renting a car and filling it up, we spent $150 USD triple the normal price from just one week prior.

Governments are scrambling to respond releasing reserves, rationing energy, and urging citizens to conserve but for many ordinary people, this is a season marked by uncertainty, anxiety, and daily sacrifice..

And in this moment, Passover speaks again.

It reminds us that God is not distant from economic hardship, nor indifferent to the struggles of nations. The same God who heard the cries of the Israelites in Egypt hears the quiet prayers of families today whether in Jerusalem, Tehran, Seoul, Manila, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, or beyond.

Deliverance in the Exodus did not come easily or instantly. It unfolded through tension, disruption, and moments that must have seemed overwhelming to those living through them. Yet in the midst of it all, God was working preparing the way for freedom even before it was visible.

That truth remains today and forevermore. Yet when faced with trials and hardship, we often enter panic mode seeking to protect ourselves and our families above all else but forget the promises of God, which are even more relevant in times such as these.

Let us remember Israel, who walked into the waters with the army of Egypt at their backs; Yeshua rising on the third day; and the countless times He brought victory out of certain defeat and death. Take hold. Hold fast. He is alive, and His Word goes forth in power and might for the tearing down of strongholds and the building up of His people around the world who lift high the banner of the Great I Am, no matter the day or hour.

The Promise of God

For those facing fear in Israel, there is a promise of protection and peace.
For those longing for freedom in Iran, there is hope that oppression is not the final word.
For those struggling under economic pressure across Asia, there is assurance that provision and restoration are still possible even in scarcity.

Passover calls us not only to remember, but to respond to pray from the love of the Father for all people caught in conflict, to stand in faith with the body of Yeshua as the world enters another chapter of end-time biblical prophecy, and to believe that even in times of global shaking, God is still writing a story of deliverance.

The Exodus was not the end of the story it was the beginning of a journey toward promise. And today, as nations wrestle with persecution, oppression, conflict, uncertainty, and scarcity, we hold onto this truth:

Deliverance is not just something God did it is something He still does.

May this Pesach (Passover) be a reminder that even in the darkest nights, the doorposts are still marked, the promise still stands, and freedom is still on the horizon not only for you, but even for your enemies who hate you and curse you.

May they become an integral part of your prayers this season not only to be forgiven, but for their hearts to be softened, for them to encounter King Yeshua personally, and to be brought into the Kingdom of God away from hell and destruction.

May the Light of Yahweh shine through you and be proclaimed in His perfect love and power from your mouth as a trumpet of God and a roar of the Lion of the tribe of Judah for His glory, and for His Kingdom to come on earth as it is in heaven.
