AV 5787: ESCUCHA AL PADRE Y LEVÁNTATE

Hemos entrado en el mes bíblico de Av, el quinto mes del calendario bíblico. En las Escrituras, AV es llamado principalmente «el quinto mes» , y su nombre está estrechamente relacionado con la palabra hebrea "av", que significa padre. Por lo tanto, este es un mes para acercarnos al corazón de Abba, silenciar las voces que compiten a nuestro alrededor y escuchar con claridad lo que el Padre está diciendo.

AV es tradicionalmente recordado como uno de los meses más difíciles de la historia bíblica. Los primeros nueve días culminan en Tisha B’Avel nueve de Av. Un día recordado en Israel, un día de lamento por la destrucción tanto del Primer como del Segundo Templo en Jerusalén. También recuerda el informe de los espías y la incredulidad de la generación que se negó a entrar en la Tierra Prometida.

Sin embargo, AV no puede entenderse únicamente como un mes de duelo. También es un mes de arrepentimiento, consuelo, reconstrucción, restauración de la identidad y fe valiente. El Padre no expone lo que está quebrantado para condenarnos; lo expone para que pueda ser sanados, purificados y restaurados.

Zacarías profetizó que el ayuno del quinto mes se convertiría (algún día) en un tiempo de gozo, alegría y celebraciones para la casa de Judá, pero concluye con una instrucción clara: «Por tanto, amen la verdad y la paz» (Zacarías 8:19).

Esta es la invitación en Av: recordar el pasado sin ser encadenados en él, aprender de lo que fue destruido y permitir que el Padre construya algo nuevo dentro de nosotros.

DEL DUELO A LA RESTAURACIÓN

Las Tres Semanas de Duelo empezaron el diecisiete de Tamuz y culminó el nueve de Av. Este periodo recuerda la apertura de brechas en los muros de Jerusalén y la destrucción de los dosTemplos.

Estos acontecimientos no son solamente históricos; también son una advertencia. Lo que estaba construido fue destruido después de que se debilitara la obediencia, la justicia, la humildad y la fidelidad al pacto.

Los profetas advirtieron repetidamente a Jerusalén, pero el pueblo continuó viviendo como si nada:

«Una y otra vez, el SEÑOR, el Dios de sus antepasados, les envió mensajes por medio de Sus mensajeros… Pero ellos se burlaron de los heraldos de Dios, despreciaron Sus palabras y se mofaron de Sus profetas, hasta que la ira del SEÑOR se levantó contra Su pueblo y ya no hubo remedio».
(2 Crónicas 36:15–16)

La tragedia no fue el silencio del Cielo sino la negativa a escuchar.

AV nos invita a examinar nuestro templo. Como creyentes en Yeshua, somos el templo del Espíritu Santo (1 Corintios 6:19). La pregunta no es qué sucedió con el Templo de Jerusalén, sino ¿qué está pasando dentro del templo de nuestros corazones?.

Debemos preguntarnos con sinceridad:
• ¿A qué le hemos dado lugar y que pertenece al Espíritu Santo?
• ¿Hemos dado lugar al orgullo, el temor, la ofensa, la transigencia o la distracción?
• ¿Nos hemos acostumbrado tanto al ruido del mundo que ya no reconocemos la voz del Padre?

Yeshua entra a Su templo. Él derriba lo que no le pertenece. Él limpia lo que es Suyo. Su corrección no significa rechazo, es su amor el que se niega a dejarnos igual.

Durante este mes invitemos a Yeshua a entrar, sin ofrecer resistencia:
• Quitar todo ídolo oculto
• Derribar todo acuerdo falso
• Silenciar toda voz contraria
• Restaurar el altar de adoración dentro de nosotros

EL PRIMER DÍA DE AV: LA TRANSICIÓN DE AARÓN

Las Escrituras registran que Aarón, el sumo sacerdote, murió en el monte Hor, el primer día del quinto mes:

«Entonces el sacerdote Aarón subió al monte Hor por mandato del SEÑOR y allí murió… el primer día del quinto mes».
(Números 33:38)

La muerte de Aarón marcó un final, pero no el final del propósito de Dios. Sus vestiduras fueron transferidas a Eleazar, mostrando que el Cielo continúa obrando incluso cuando se cambia de temporada.

Av teaches us this clearly: what ends in one season does not end God’s assignment.

We must learn to release what cannot be carried into the next season:
• Old garments
• Former assignments
• Familiar structures
• Outgrown ways of operating

At the same time, we must honor what was without clinging to it and step boldly into what is coming.

This is also a call to intercession for leadership.

We must cover those entrusted with spiritual responsibility. This is not a time for division, accusation, or competition, but for humility, unity, and maturity.

We must refuse offense. We must reject bitterness. We must guard the unity of the Body.

The Father is forming a priesthood that serves from:
• intimacy, not ambition
• obediencia, not recognition
• amar, not a personal agenda

THE TRIBE OF AV: SIMEON—HEAR AND OBEY

The tribe associated with Av is Simeon, whose name is rooted in hearing.
“Because the LORD heard that I am not loved…”
(Genesis 29:33)

Av is a month of hearing—but not passive hearing. Biblical hearing demands a response.
To hear the Father is to obey the Father.

We must be honest:
• Hearing without obedience is deception
• Conviction without change is delay
• Delay can become disobedience

Jerusalem heard but did not respond. Nineveh heard and repented:
“The Ninevites believed God… and put on sackcloth.”
(Jonah 3:5)

The difference was not God’s voice—the difference was their response.

This month, we must decide quickly:
• When God speaks, we obey
• When conviction comes, we respond
• When correction comes, we yield

We must also guard our emotions. Simeon’s history warns us that unresolved anger can distort destiny. Pain that is not surrendered can become destructive.

We must ask:
• Am I responding from peace or from pain?
• Am I reacting from wounds or from the Spirit?

“Human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.”
(James 1:20)

Action for this month:
• Pause before reacting
• Pray before responding
• Yield before deciding

FROM THE REPORT OF FEAR TO THE LANGUAGE OF FAITH

The ninth of AV is tied to the report of the spies. All saw the same land—but only two saw through faith.

The problem was not the giants. The problem was interpretation.
“We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes…”
(Numbers 13:33)

Before defeat happened in reality, it had already been accepted in their identity.

Av confronts this directly:
You are not a grasshopper. You are not your fear. You are not your limitation.

You are:
• a child of God
• redeemed by Yeshua
• filled with the Holy Spirit

Joshua and Caleb did not deny the giants—they declared that God was greater.

“If the LORD delights in us, He will bring us into this land…”
(Numbers 14:8–9)

Action for this month:
• Reject fear-based interpretation
• Refuse negative agreement
• Speak only what aligns with God’s promise

FROM A DESTROYED TEMPLE TO LIVING STONES

Yeshua declared:
"Destruid este templo, y en tres días lo levantaré."
He was speaking of His body (John 2:18–21).

What looked like destruction became resurrection.
We are not abandoned ruins—we are living stones:
“You also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house…”
(1 Peter 2:5)

This means:
• We are being built together
• We are not meant to stand alone
• We must allow God to shape us to fit one another

Action for this month:
• Release isolation
• Pursue unity
• Choose forgiveness quickly
• Stay connected to the Body

SEVEN WEEKS OF COMFORT

“Comfort, comfort My people…”
(Isaiah 40:1)
Comfort is not weakness—it is strength restored.
God comforts us so that we can rise again and strengthen others:
“He comforts us… so that we can comfort those…”
(2 Corinthians 1:3–4)

Action for this month:
• Receive God’s comfort personally
• Refuse to stay in grief
• Become a source of encouragement to others

THE LETTER TET: HIDDEN GOODNESS

“God saw that the light was good…”
(Genesis 1:4)
Even when it is hidden, God is still good.

Joseph declared:
“You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good…”
(Genesis 50:20)

Action for this month:
• Stop declaring the story too early
• Trust God in hidden seasons
• Look again for His goodness

THE LION OF AV: RECOGNIZE THE TRUE ROAR

The Lion of Judah has triumphed (Revelation 5:5).
The enemy only imitates.

Action for this month:
• Reject fear-based voices
• Strengthen worship and prayer
• Stay anchored in Scripture
• Listen for the Shepherd’s voice above all

THE FATHER OVER MANY WATERS

“The voice of the LORD is over the waters…”
(Psalm 29:3)
God is above every storm.
“The river of the water of life…”
(Revelation 22:1)

Breakthrough flows from His throne—not from struggle.

Action for this month:
• Stop striving in your own strength
• Surrender areas of blockage
• Let God’s river flow again

MESSAGE FOR THE MONTH OF AV

This is a month to:
• Hear quickly
• Obey immediately
• Forgive fully
• Release fear completely
• Walk in unity
• Rise in faith

Do not stay where you are.
“Rise and walk” (Acts 3:6).

Declaration:
• I will hear the Father
• I will obey without delay
• I will not agree with fear
• I will not remain stuck
• I will rise in Yeshua’s authority

We will not repeat the wilderness mindset. We will believe God’s report and move forward..

PRAYER AND DECLARATION

Abba Father, in this month of Av, bring us into deep obedience. Silence every voice that is not Yours. Make Your voice unmistakably clear.

Cleanse our hearts. Remove pride, fear, offense, and every hidden compromise. Make us quick to repent and quick to obey.

We reject the report of fear. We choose Your promise. We choose Your truth. We choose Your voice above all others.

Heal what is broken within us. Restore what has been damaged. Strengthen what is weak.

Unite Your people. Break division. Remove offense. Make us one in Yeshua.

Let us rise from every place of spiritual paralysis. Let us walk in obedience, clarity, and courage.

We declare: Yeshua is Lord. Fear is broken. Faith is alive. The Father is speaking—and we will obey.
