The Cry of a Dying Nation: Will Korea Reach for Him?
The current state of South Korea mirrors the woman in the Gospels who suffered from a chronic discharge of blood. Despite exhausting her wealth and seeking every human remedy, she was dying, as her condition only grew worse. Even Yeshua was initially passing by her. However, she recognized that Yeshua alone was her salvation, disregarding the judgment of those around her. With desperate faith, she thought, “If I touch even His garments, I will be made well.” She stopped the Savior in His tracks and drew out His power to receive life.
Mark 5:27–28: “She had heard the reports about Yeshua and came up behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment. For she said, ‘If I touch even His garments, I will be made well.’”
Do you not see that Korea is like that woman? Are we aware that South Korea is “spiritually hemorrhaging”? We may be blinded by the success of K-pop and the illusion of economic prosperity, yet internally, the spiritual calling and national identity are draining away. If we do not awaken to this desperation, Yeshua may pass by, and Korea may fail to even reach for His cloak.
Standing in the Gap for a “One Korea”
God is the Author and Sovereign Ruler of all nations. He holds an Original Blueprint for one Korea (South and North), including its destiny and calling in this last days. However, Korea has surrendered its spiritual foundations to the enemy.
Yahweh established the nation of Israel through one man, Abraham. He is looking for one person who is willing to stand in the gap so that He can rebuild the spiritual foundations of Korea today.
Ezekiel 22:30: “And I sought for a man among them who should build up the wall and stand in the gap before Me for the land, that I should not destroy it, but I found none.”
2 Chronicles 7:14: “If My people who are called by My name humble themselves, and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
We are calling in the name of Yeshua prayer warriors who set themselves apart, humble themselves before God, and stand in the gap for Korea. We refuse to pray aimlessly; as the Apostle Paul said, we do not run without a goal or box as one beating the air (1 Corinthians 9:26).
• Matthew 6:10: “Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”
We pray with a specific mandate: to call forth the destiny of Korea and to enthrone Yeshua H’Mashiah (Jesus Christ) as the supreme King of Kings over both the South and the North. We will set ourselves apart in holiness and desperation to offer strategic prayer to transform the foundations of this nation and see a “One Korea” fulfill its end-time calling.
10 Strategic Prayer Points for the Korean Peninsula:
1. Prayer for the Heavenly Blueprint of “One Korea”
“Blessed (morally courageous and spiritually alive) are the peacemakers, for they will be called the sons of Yahweh.” — Matthew 5:9
We must move beyond problem-oriented prayer and focus on God’s purpose for Korea.
The Foundation
In 1904, the founding President of the RoK (Republic of Korea), Syngman Rhee, envisioned a nation built on Christian righteousness. This spirit led to the 1907 Pyongyang Revival and the 1919 Independence Movement which served as the foundation for the Provisional Government and established the spiritual model for a unified Korea. When the RoK was formally founded in 1948, Yeshua (Jesus Christ) was honored as the King of the Republic through the leadership of President Syngman Rhee and Pastor Han Kyung-chik.
The Identity
The founding fathers declared that God chose Korea to be a Christian nation in the East a “Priestly Nation” to bring the Gospel to Asia. Furthermore, through modern prophets since 2005, Yahweh has confirmed that when the two Koreas are united, the One Korea will become one of the most powerful in the world, both spiritually and economically. This “One Korea” is destined to prepare the way for the Lord’s return and carry the Gospel back to Jerusalem.
Prayer Points:
• Father, restore Korea to its original calling as a nation aligned with Your will.
• Reawaken the revival fire of Pyongyang (1907) and the spirit of righteousness that shaped the nation.
• Re-establish Korea as a Light-carrier that spread Gospel in Asia, and back to Jerusalem.
• Let the identity written in heaven override political and ideological identities.
2. Proclaiming Yeshua (Christ) Absolute Authority
Proclaim that all authority is under Yeshua. We ask Yahweh to reclaim the spiritual realm and the physical territory of the nation.
• Matthew 28:18: “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me…”

• Romans 11:4: “I have kept for myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.”

• Righteous Diplomacy: Discern and establish biblical foreign policy (ROK-US-China-Israel) and reject anti-Semitism.
• Next Generation: Blocking the Anti-Discrimination Act to protect gender identity and the next generation.
5. Prayer for Elections and Leaders
We pray that the fear of Yahweh would fall upon the political process (June 2026 election), ensuring that leaders who can be strategically used by God are raised up, while opposing forces are neutralized.
• Proverbs 21:1: “The king’s heart is a stream of water in the hand of Yahweh; he turns it wherever he will.”
• Proverbs 29:2 (AMP): “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when the wicked rule, the people groan.”

• Protect and strengthen the underground remnants.
• Release divine encounters and dreams of Yeshua across the nation.
• Establish pathways for truth, freedom, and transformation.
7. Protection Amidst International Tension and Tribulation
• Psalm 46:1 (AMP): “Yahweh is our refuge and strength [mighty and impenetrable], a very present help in trouble.”
Prayer Points:
• Cancel in the name of Yeshua escalation of war, nuclear conflict, or military provocation.
• Establish Korea as a zone of divine intervention, not destruction.
• Protect civilians from fear, propaganda, and instability.

• Strengthen the present remnants to finish what previous generations began.

• Isaiah 60:1 (AMP): “Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of Yahweh has risen upon you.”
Prayer Points:
• Position Korea as a strategic nation for global revival and harvest.
• Use Korea as a bridge between Asia, Israel, and the nations.
• Raise Korea as a missionary-sending nation once again.
• Align Korea with God’s purposes in the end-time harvest.
10. Rise of the End-Time Ekklesia (The Government of God)
• Matthew 16:18 (AMP): “And I say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my Ekklesia; and the gates of Hades (death) will not overpower it.”
• Romans 8:19: “For [even the whole] creation waits eagerly for the children of God to be manifested.”
Prayer Points:
• Father, raise up the true Ekklesia in Korea not just a church institution, but a governing body aligned with Heaven’s authority.
• Establish Your Ekklesia as a legislative and spiritual authority that shapes the destiny of the nation.
• Let the Ekklesia arise in oneness, purity, and power, functioning under the headship of Yeshua alone.
• Activate the sons and daughters of God to be revealed, carrying authority over regions, systems, and the entire peninsula.
• Break passivity and religious limitation; release a bold, governmental Ekklesia that advances Your Kingdom.
• Let the gates of hell over Korea (division, oppression, deception, and war) not prevail against the Ekklesia.
• Raise apostolic and prophetic leadership that can discern times and seasons and execute Heaven’s strategy.
• Align the Ekklesia in both South and underground North Korea, forming one spiritual body before physical oneness.
God is not silent because He lacks power; He is waiting for a Moses, an Abraham, or a Daniel to stand in the gap.
He has promised: if we humble ourselves and repent, He WILL heal this land. Now, who will stand in this gap?
