Kosta Rika: Masa Akar, Keselarasan, dan Buah
Costa Rica is entering a new spiritual season, marked by clear signs that unite territory, time, and eternal purpose. The Holy Spirit is not only speaking through visible events, but is also dealing with the invisible foundations of the nation.
The president-elect, Laura Fernández Delgado, was honored in 2024 as “Honorary Citizen and Illustrious Daughter of the Canton of Esparza,” the City of the Holy Spirit, within the framework of the 450th anniversary of its founding. This recognition—the highest distinction granted by that municipality—speaks of a place that has shaped identity, values, and vision. In Scripture, ancient and foundational places represent roots, gates, and platforms of sending. Esparza has been prophetically spoken of as a city from which God sends sons and daughters to be a light to the nations.
That leadership emerges from there confirms a biblical principle:
God honors the root before manifesting the fruit.
The presidential elections were decided in a single round, a sign of alignment and clarity, and they took place during Tu BiShvat, the Biblical New Year of the Trees. This biblical season speaks of roots being examined, trees being established, and fruit being determined in advance. Heaven seemed to be marking that a new tree was being planted for the nation.
This connects directly with Psalm 1:
“He shall be like a tree planted by streams of water,
that yields its fruit in its season…”
Costa Rica is being called to take root properly in order to bear fruit in the midst of a shaken world.
From a biblical perspective, this president may resemble the model of Ruth—not as the protagonist of a messianic narrative, but as an instrument for the alignment of destinies in a foreign land that ultimately becomes part of the fabric of God’s people. This kind of leadership can help draw the nation closer to its prophetic calling and strengthen its relationship with Israel, recognizing that part of a nation’s blessing is connected to how it treats the people of the covenant.
The territorial support—obtaining a majority of votes in most provinces—reflects significant territorial authority, and with a majority of deputies elected to the Legislative Assembly, there is a window of opportunity to govern effectively.
🗺️ A Territorial Sign: Cartago and Puntarenas
There is an additional sign that deepens this prophetic reading: the only province where this leadership did not prevail was Cartago, while it did win Puntarenas, the province where Esparza is located.
Cartago is not just any city. It is:
• The oldest city in Costa Rica
• A former political and spiritual center
• The historical epicenter of devotion to La Negrita
In the Bible, the oldest cities represent spiritual foundations. When God brings a new season, He first deals with ancient gates and ancient altars (Isaiah 58:12; Judges 6).
That Cartago did not support this leadership can be interpreted not as human rejection, but as resistance from an ancient spiritual foundation, a territorial strong man that still claims authority.
By contrast, Puntarenas—and Esparza within it—did give its support, even though it is also a region where Marian devotion exists. This reveals something key:
👉 God is not avoiding territories with religious foundations; He is beginning to deal with them at the root.
⚖️ Eternal Justice Over the Foundations
This leads us to a deeper reading of this moment:
God is bringing eternal justice over the strong men of the foundational cities of Costa Rica.
In Scripture, justice is not destruction, but alignment with divine order. Yeshua taught that one must first bind the strong man in order to plunder the house (Matthew 12:29). God is not uprooting the land; He is cleansing the ground in order to sow again.
• Cartago represents the ancient religious foundation.
• Esparza represents the prophetic root of sending.
• Puntarenas represents the gateway to the nations.
The message seems to be:
“I will deal with the ancient foundations
in order to sow a new seed in the nation.”
That new seed is not ideological or cultural, but eternal:
👉 the Law of God, the Ten Commandments, that is:
• Truth
• Justice
• Order
• Life
• The fear of God
From that seed springs forth a new Tree of Life, and from that tree, a new Costa Rica—not in name, but in nature.
⏳ The Time: 2026–2030
The governmental period 2026–2030, at the closing stretch of the decade, marks a cycle-ending moment and a prophetic acceleration. In the Bible, the end of cycles are times of irreversible definition: what is sown there determines what will come afterward.
For years, the Eternal has spoken that Costa Rica is a refuge for Jews. This word takes on renewed weight in this season, reminding us:
“I will bless those who bless you” (Kejadian 12:3).
The protection, peace, and destiny of the nation are tied to its alignment with Israel.
🕊️ Conclusion
The sign is not only a leadership change; it is a season.
Costa Rica is being called to:
• Honor its roots
• Allow God to deal with its foundations
• Receive a new eternal seed
• Become a planted tree, a nation of refuge, and a platform of light
Not to exalt men,
but to manifest God’s eternal design upon the land.
God is bringing eternal justice over the ancient foundations of Costa Rica,
not to destroy the nation,
but to plant within it the Tree of Life
that will bear fruit for generations to come.
📜 Prophetic Declaration Over Costa Rica
In this time of roots, justice, and new fruit,
we declare over Costa Rica the eternal word of Hosea 2:21–23:
*“And it shall come to pass in that day,” says the Almighty,
“That I will answer;
I will answer the heavens,
and they shall answer the earth.
The earth shall answer with grain, wine, and oil,
and they shall answer Jezreel.
I will sow her for Myself in the land;
I will have mercy on her who had not obtained mercy;
then I will say to those who were not My people,
‘You are My people!’
And they shall say, ‘You are my God!’”*
We declare that the heavens realign over Costa Rica.
We declare that the land responds with fruit, provision, and life.
We declare that what is sown in justice will produce an eternal harvest.
Just as Jezreel means “God sows,”
we declare that Costa Rica is a land where God sows again:
not corruption, but justice;
not confusion, but order;
not barrenness, but new fruit.
We declare that the nation hears the voice of the Father again
and responds, saying:
“You are our God.”
We affirm that this time marks the beginning
of a new Costa Rica
planted, restored, and fruitful
according to the eternal design of the God of Israel.
We also declare that Costa Rica enters a Psalm 1 season,
as a tree planted by streams of water,
with deep roots and fruit mature in its time.
🇮🇱 We declare that Costa Rica will be a nation aligned with Israel,
a land of blessing for the covenant people
and a refuge in times of shaking.
📌 We declare leadership with wisdom, authority, and the fear of God,
with legislative strength to establish justice,
order, and truth for the common good.
⏳ We declare that the years 2026–2030 mark a season of definition,
where paths are set, destinies aligned,
and future times prepared according to God’s eternal design.
🌱 We declare that the nation will flourish in its prophetic calling,
that its fruit will remain,
and that it will fulfill its destiny
as a land of peace, refuge, and eternal purpose.
Amen.
This message was written by a son of Esparza, City of the Holy Spirit,
who was sent and established with eternal purposes in Jerusalem, the City of the Great King.
May God bless Israel and Costa Rica 🇮🇱🇨🇷
