Since the 70th anniversary of the formation of Israel on April 19th, there has been an unprecedented acceleration of the prophetic times of God. “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9).  This verse, regarding the second coming of the Lord has almost run its course.  For over 2,000 years God has been merciful, giving us as much time as possible to repent before judgement comes, but that patience is nearly at its end.  For such a time as this, we must be led by the Holy Spirit with the Word of God to understand with clarity what is happening in the nations of the world and how we can intercede for the brethren and the nations with a clear direction of prayer.  “But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come” (John 16:13).

These time of acceleration are knocking on the door of Israel as we speak, in the form of an enemy bent on the total destruction of the Nation and people of Israel.  Now is a very very crucial time to intercede as the wolves are circling and preparing to attack.  In Gaza, the terrorist organization Hamas, who control all of the so called “ Palestinian territories” are directly linked with Hezbollah, another terrorist organization, and Iran who directly funds and supplies both groups.  All three of these entities have one thing in common which is the goal of the annihilation of the nation of Israel and all of its people, regardless of background. Yahya Sinwar, Part of Hamas Leadership, just a few days ago was quoted as saying “We will tear down the border and we will tear out their hearts”, a rather toned down remark compared to the norm. A concerted effort by all three parties, as well as Syria and other outside players is taking place as we speak, to put into action a full scale attack on Israel.

There are currently large scale protests happening along the Gaza border where protesters have been killed as they ignored the warnings of Israel that there would be no change in the rules of engagement, meaning that if you come within 300 feet of the border fence we will shoot you.  These casualties have caused a resurgence of pro-palestine attitudes around the world, but this is certainly not being done as an isolated event.  Hamas is the organization organizing the events, knowing full well there would be casualties that would cause tensions to rise.  Meanwhile, in Lebanon, home of Hezbollah, the parliamentary elections are set to begin ‪on May 6th‬, with Hezbollah poised to use this resurgence of hate to gain more power in the country’s government.  Meanwhile, Iran, who has set up 13 military bases inside of Syria, has had a massive uptick in ammunition shipments and supplies to these and other bases in the past two weeks.  What’s more, the United States is poised to ditch the Iran Nuclear deal ‪on May 12th‬, with other key allies looking to join in after Benjamin Netanyahu recently shared documented evidence of Iran’s plans to build a nuclear weapon which they denied in the Iran Nuclear Deal.  To put the icing on the cake, Israel blew up 200 Iranian missiles in an airstrike on a Syrian military base just days ago that were to be used to fire at Israel.  Iran warned Israel before this happened that any more airstrikes in Syria would result in dire consequences. in loue of all of this, the Israeli government just passed a bill that gave the prime minister the authority to declare war or order a major military operation by consulting only the defense minister, and not via a full cabinet vote as the law had previously required.   All of these events have all happened in a very short time and will continue to develop at a rapid pace, and the timing of these events is key.  The protests on the Gaza border are scheduled to continue ‪until May 15‬, a day traditionally commemorated by Arabs living in the gaza strip and other contested territories for their displacement in 1948, and by Israel to celebrate its independence. Significantly, this is also the date the United States plans to officially move its embassy to Jerusalem.

Traditional alliances are being tested and those aligning with Israel include even Saudi Arabia, with its Crown Prince recently saying that “ Palestinians should come to the negotiating table or shut up”, something that leaders of traditionally Muslim countries never would have dared to say even 6 months ago.   Nations are choosing sides.  Guatemala has now officially moved their embassy to Jerusalem, and will be followed by the United States ‪on May 15th‬, with Paraguay to follow suit quickly, and the Czech Republic soon to vote on the issue.  With other events like the official ending of the Korean war and the meeting between Donald Trump and Kim Jong-Un to take place in late may early june, as well as the recent decision by the Russian and Chinese governments to heavily censor and limit the Body of Christ in their nations, are in no way isolated events.  “Satan is filled with fury, because he knows that his time is short” (Revelation 12:12).  A great shaking has begun in the heavens and on the earth.  We need not be frustrated, feeling overwhelmed by the problems of the world, because we have the power of prayer and intercession with the authority of Almighty God, “And though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds” (2 Corinthians 10:3-4).  So, outfitted with the armories of heaven, with the Spirit of God, cleansed by the Blood of Yeshua, as co-heirs with Christ, it is time to shake the nations and be the history makers as we intercede on behalf of Israel and the nations.  Pray in this direction:

  1. Pray for confusion and fear amongst Israel’s Enemies: (Iran, Syria, Hezbollah, Hamas)

“I will send my terror ahead of you and throw into confusion every nation you encounter. I will make all your enemies turn their backs and run” (Exodus 23:27).

*Remember* “our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms” (Ephesians 6:12).  Yeshua died for all (2 Corinthians 5:15), so be sure not to pray from a place of anger or hate towards our fellow man, but against the true enemy.

  1. Pray that United States will not renew the nuclear deal with Iran, and that other nations (Germany, France, Russia, UK and China) will follow the lead of Israel in exposing the lies regarding Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

  1. Pray for Isaiah 19:24-25 highway fulfillment. (Israel, Egypt and Syria)

“In that day Israel will be the third party with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing in the midst of the earth, whom the LORD of hosts has blessed, saying, “Blessed is Egypt My people, and Assyria the work of My hands, and Israel My inheritance.”

  1. Pray for an angelic intervention bringing end to the protests at the Gaza Strip.

“And Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes, LORD, so that he may see.” Then the LORD opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha” (2 Kings 6:17).

  1. Pray that God can turn the hearts of the nations to be pro Israel and that more countries will move their embassies to Jerusalem as a prophetic alignment.

All nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them from one another as a shepherd separates his sheep from the goats; [Matthew 25:32].

  1. Fulfillment of the latter rain (Outpouring of the Holy Spirit among the Jews and Arabs throughout all of Israel).

“And he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month” (Joel 2:23).

  1. Pray for the upcoming elections in Lebanon ‪on May 6th.‬

He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and sets up kings. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding! (Daniel 2:21).
