Tevet has officially arrived<\/strong> kingdom family and we are entering into the gates of a new Biblical Month! As we enter into Tevet (Dec. 25th to Jan. 24th)<\/em> get ready to see the fate of many nations decided this month, old leaders fall and new ones arise. This is a month of judgment and authority,<\/strong><\/em> but not all judgement of God is bad and in fact is always righteous.<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Also, as we enter this Biblical month, we celebrate the last days of Hanukkah, a feast that even Yeshua celebrated in Jerusalem.<\/strong> Why should we care though?<\/em> It turns out Hanukkah points straight to Yeshua and even to the Spirit-filled body of Messiah today. Let\u2019s dive into the characteristics of Tevet and find the mysteries of the month<\/em><\/strong> that give us a clear vision of what to expect, how to position ourselves, and how we are being called to stand victoriously in God\u2019s perfect plan<\/strong> to foil the plans and schemes of the fallen kingdom of darkness.<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The 8th, 9th, and 10th<\/h3>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Tevet is a month of great contrasts in Scripture,<\/strong> and three days in particular 8-10, had some of the greatest impacts in all of Hebrew history and world history combined. On the 8th,<\/strong> the Septuagint translation of the Hebrew Bible into Greek was completed,<\/em> on the one hand, making it accessible to the world and leading to an explosion of global interest in the Word of God while on the other hand simplifying and many say depleting it\u2019s meaning in comparison to the Hebrew text. The 9th marks the deaths of both Ezra and Nehemiah<\/strong> and reminds us of the miraculous rebirth of Jerusalem<\/em><\/strong> and Israel returning to God. Finally, on the 10th of Tevet,<\/strong> marked by a day of fasting, we remember the army of Nebuchadnezzar breaching the walls of Jerusalem,<\/em> the beginning of the total destruction of both the city and the 2nd temple (2 Kings 25:1), a judgement of God that led to the long history of the many exiles of our people throughout history.<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

This is the 10th month,<\/strong> and 10 is the number of Godly authority, a time when the fate of nations is brought into the balance and when righteous judgements and decrees are brought into motion the world over. With one quick glance at the state of global affairs, a heightened sense of expectation and focus on the voice of Elohim is paramount. As God\u2019s Ekklesia<\/strong> (Government)<\/em> here on earth, we are not meant to sit by idly as these heavenly decrees are brought into action, but instead be hearing clearly the difference between what Adonai is speaking<\/strong> from His throne and what is being uttered in opposition from the fallen kingdom of darkness. Which decrees we agree with hold sway in both local and global affairs, so let\u2019s be sure to spend more time in the Holy of holies than in the news this month. Just like the events of Tevet in history,<\/em> what happens this month around the world will have equal and possibly even greater impact than before on our immediate present and future<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Esther became queen<\/strong> in this month (Esther 2:16-17), the defeat of the Greeks and re-dedication of the temple was completed, and Noah first saw the top of the mountains as the waters began to recede from the great flood (Genesis 8:5). Tevet, the month of contrasts,<\/em> weighty endings, and new beginnings can seem overwhelming at first, but in each of these instances in the Word of God, Esther, the Maccabees, and Noah<\/em><\/strong> were set apart and used by God to bring about monumental shifts that shape the planet to this day. What made them able to see their destinies in God fulfilled was obedience<\/strong>, knowing that because Adonai had called them to these specific tasks, He would never abandon them, but instead be ever present to see it come to pass.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

You are here on this earth because in YHWH\u2019s divine providence He chose you for a unique and special purpose<\/strong> that no one else is tasked for, and now is the moment to step into God\u2019s grace and authority for those tasks unafraid and with great excitement for what still lies ahead. Be bold and courageous!<\/em><\/strong> Keep your eyes focused on YHWH, and even in the midst of turmoil and accusation, stick firmly to the path of Yeshua.<\/strong> The mountain tops are just over the horizon, and the promise of God is at hand!<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

INNOCENT BLOOD, BOASTING GODS, AND JUSTICE<\/h3>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
\r\n\t
\r\n\t\t

Tevet<\/strong> is also a month of restoring divine order and bringing justice.<\/strong> Twice during the tenth month, prophet Ezekiel received the Word of Adonai in both Ezekiel 24 and 29 regarding Israel and Egypt. The Lord of Hosts reeled against Israel for the sacrifice of their children to Molech and decreed His wrath against Jerusalem for doing so<\/em><\/strong>. Instead of turning from their wicked ways, Israel turned further from YHWH and did these atrocious acts. Does this sound familiar to what we see today with the likes of legal and rampant abortion and other evils that have been legalized as good?<\/em> In Ezekiel 29, once again Adonai speaks to Ezekiel, this time regarding the Pharaoh of Egypt and the principalities behind the throne of Pharaoh who boasts of the Nile being made by his hands, and who betrayed Israel when they needed support the most. He declared the downfall and exile<\/strong> in Egypt for 40 years because of it at the hand of Nebuchadnezzar.<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Lastly, during the tenth month, after the exiles had returned to Jerusalem from Babylon,<\/strong> something crucial happened amongst the people. They began to search the Scripture again about what YHWH had commanded Israel to do through the Law of Moses, and found they had transgressed that law as many amongst them had married foreign women who served false gods. So what did they decide to do? Did they continue on as usual, or had the fear of Adonai taken hold after 70 years of exile?<\/em> The latter would be correct, and on the first of Tevet, they began to investigate all who had broken the law<\/strong> and named them by name for all to hear. Israel knew the dangerous path they were going down and could see clearly the calamity that would befall them again if they continued to ignore the law, and they were bound and determined that would not happen. How determined are you that past mistakes and old habits will not lead you down the wrong path?<\/em> Forward and into our God-given destinies is our direction this month, like a racehorse that does not look back, or see to the right or left, but straight ahead,<\/strong> focused on crossing the finish line top form.<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

DAN<\/h3>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

\r\n\t\t

The tribe of Tevet is the tribe of Dan<\/strong> which translates \u201cto judge\u201d<\/em><\/strong>. He was the first son of Rachel through her servant Bilhah, and Rachel said, \u201cGod has judged me, and has also heard my voice, and has given me a son: therefore she called him Dan\u201d (Genesis 30:6).<\/em> While Dan was a blessing as Rachel\u2019s firstborn son, he was also a reminder of her barrenness as he was born through her servant. The dichotomy of the tribe of Dan is similar to Rachel\u2019s reasons for naming him, as a great judge of Israel would arise out of Dan, but also that Dan would become Idolatrous<\/em> even before receiving its full inheritance in the Promised Land. After giving birth to Joseph, Rachel\u2019s first son of her own womb, she then stole her father\u2019s household idols without the knowledge of anyone else causing Jacob to decree that whoever stole them would surely die. And so it came to pass not so far from Bethlehem that she died giving birth to Benjami<\/strong>n never able to enjoy raising him as her own.<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Unfortunately, it was of the tribe of Dan, who first began to worship false idols<\/strong><\/em> during the conquering of its allotted portion of the promised land on what is today the Northeast Mountains of Israel (Judges 18)<\/em>. However, from this idolatrous tribe also came Samson, the judge of Israel<\/em><\/strong> during the oppressive times of the Philistines. He was used by YHWH against the most advanced army of its time. With no weapons except for the strength of Almighty God, Samson brought down the temple of Dagon upon the heads of all of the leaders that oppressed Israel, killing Israel\u2019s enemies and ushering in a time of justice.<\/strong><\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

We pray that this month of Tevet<\/strong> will be just that for you, a month of justice<\/strong> when the things done in the darkness will be exposed to the light for the glory of Adonai when that which has stolen will be returned 7 fold, for every curse to be turned to a blessing<\/em><\/strong> and every evil against you to be turned to good as is the promise of Adonai. It is time to stand firm brethren,<\/strong> not holding onto hidden idols, but being renewed and being used as a light in the darkness to bring about the fulfillment of your full destiny, and the destiny of your family, job, business, city and nation.<\/em><\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

YESHUA IN CHANUKKAH<\/h3>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
\r\n\t
\r\n\t\t

It is well known that Yeshua celebrated Chanukah,<\/strong> but can it be that it was also the time of His miraculous conception? What did He say while He was in Jerusalem to celebrate the feast that was so controversial? What He said shines light on what we can expect during this month. During Hanukkah Yeshua said, \u201cI came into this world for judgment [to separate those who believe in Me from those who reject Me\u2014to declare judgment on those who choose to be separated from God], so that the sightless would see, and those who see would become blind\u201d<\/em> (John 9:39). Directly after this, the Pharisees and Sadducees began to question His deity when finally Yeshua said clearly that He and the Father are One<\/strong> (John 10:38).<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

What brings Chanukah into an even greater mystery is that it is the most likely time of the conception of Yeshua<\/strong> based on the fact that He was conceived when his cousin, John the Baptist, was 6 months in the womb<\/em>. If this is indeed the case, then not only was Chanukah the time of rededicating the temple and Yeshua declaring Himself the Messiah, but also the time when the Light of the World was conceived.<\/strong> Yeshua was conceived during a time of great hardship in Israel, when the people were crying out to God for help and with great expectation that the Messiah was coming soon. God is working and answering our prayers behind the scenes,<\/em><\/strong> even if we do not see it, and our prayers are being answered to far greater effect than we can fathom, just like the prayers of Israel during a time of great burden. Let us have faith and eyes to see the work of God happening outside of what the world sees.<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The letter Ayin<\/strong> means \u201ceye\u201d<\/em><\/strong> or \u201cto see\u201d<\/em><\/strong>. This month will be a time of seeing more clearly in the Spirit when eyes will be opened to the things of God in the heavenly realms. Oh, how important are the eyes! \u201cThe eye is the lamp of the body; So then if your eye is clear, your whole body will be full of light\u201d (Matthew 6:22)<\/em>. Make it a point to clear your eyes this month, and see from the heavenly places. Be in the throne room with the King, looking from His perspective, seeing from His eyes and His heart. Where are your eyes fixed?<\/em><\/strong> Are they wandering or focused? \u201cLet your eyes look directly ahead And let your gaze be fixed straight in front of you\u201d (Proverbs 4:25). Yeshua, show us the plans of your enemies like you showed your prophet Elisha, whom you brought into the tent of your enemies (2 Kings 12), and open our eyes like Elisha\u2019s servant who saw that \u201cThe mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha\u201d<\/em>. The Hosts of heaven surround us even when we are not aware, and the Holy Spirit gives us insight and understanding beyond our capacity. See the unseen,<\/strong> and be strengthened in the knowledge that Adonai is a shield round about you (Psalm 3:3).<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Get ready for a month of big surprises brethren,<\/strong> the King is standing up from His throne and He is releasing His final judgments of 2022<\/em><\/strong>. We are entering into the gate of the destiny of the nations and are being called to intercede and declare righteousness and justice over our nations. The false gods are being judged<\/em> and what the fallen kingdom of darkness has been doing behind closed doors is about to be blown wide open. Adonai has been scoffing this entire time, and it is for us as His Ekklesia to see what He sees from His throne<\/strong> and to declare and decree what He is saying on earth as it is in heaven.
\nShaking is coming, revival is coming, but repentance must always precede it.<\/strong> Let\u2019s enter through the gates with thanksgiving in our hearts this Tevet watching the giants falling all around us paving the way for the return of the King of glory, and entering into the promised land victoriously.
