We celebrate the historic accord between the leaders of North and South Korea to end the Korean war, to cease all hostile acts and to transform the demilitarized zone (DMZ) into a peace zone. We believe our eyes are seeing the process of peace and unification of the two Koreas and everything will be done according to the perfect will of God. Let’s continue praying and interceding for one Korea.
Although the events regarding Korean unification are exciting, there are many people who are worried about the motives of President Moon Jae-In, and consider his political background and soft stance towards North Korea as being very communist. This raises major concerns that there may well be an unseen agenda that is being pushed under the guise of such hope and joy for One Korea. Regarding this very real possibility of such scheming, it is not for us to worry as the Word of God is clear when it says “And which of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life’s span?” (Luke 12:25).
However, it is also not for us to stand idly by and do nothing. “For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open” (Luke 8:17). Let us pray in this direction, that anything done in secret be disclosed, and that God’s perfect will for Korea be established for such a time as this. We pray from a place of victory, as the victory has already been won on the cross at Cavalry. We do not pray so that we will be victorious, but prophecy the destruction of the schemes and enemies of the Kingdom of Heaven. Although recent events have given reason for celebration, we must not cease in out intercession and prayers, as this is the most important time to be watchmen on the walls. “On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have appointed watchmen; all day and all night they will never keep silent. You who remind the LORD, take no rest for yourselves;” (Isaiah 62:6).Something that got our attention was that the media has been referring to this meeting between President Moon Jae-in and Kim Jong un as “ A New Era of Peace”https://vdd7.com/the-new-era/, and the two leaders vowing to make the DMZ “A place of peace not war”https://vdd7.com/one-korea/. Prior to this meeting the Lord had been saying exactly these things. Please read the above links as we believe they will encourage you regarding the transformation that is taking place in Korea for the Glory of God in this month of healing and restoration https://vdd7.com/month-of-iyar/. “The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you” (Romans 16:20). Please consider joining the New Korea Gathering from April 29th to June 8th in Paju, South Korea during 40 days of continuous day and night worship for the unification of the Korean Peninsula.
