Kislev<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Kislev is a month of stark contrasts and a time when we have the great privilege to choose if we will walk in joy and hope<\/strong>, or fear and doubt.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0How are you reacting to your circumstances and situations now?\u00a0\u00a0Do some things need to change?\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Biblically speaking it is a month of decision and finality, of both judgement and awakening.\u00a0\u00a0So, what will it be this time around?\u00a0\u00a0While it is known as the month of hope and dreams,<\/strong> it is also the darkest month in the Biblical calendar with nights growing longer and days shorter.\u00a0\u00a0It is the precursor to the beginning of winter, but also the month of Chanukah, the Festival of Lights from Kislev 25 to Tevet 3 (December 11th to December 18th).\u00a0\u00a0Historically, Chanukah took place in a time of deep division in Israel between the Hellenized Jews who strayed from the Word of God and worshipped the gods of the Greeks, and those who kept Torah as the law worshipping only YHWH.\u00a0\u00a0That ended with the Hellenists being defeated, and the miracle of the oil that did not run out, keeping the Menorah lit for seven days for the dedication of the temple until more could be made.\u00a0\u00a0Interestingly, if Yeshua was born during Sukkot, it is likely He was conceived during Chanukah and the Winter Solstice.\u00a0\u00a0\u201cThe true light, which gives light to everyone, was coming into the world<\/strong>\u201d<\/em> (John 1:9).<\/p>\n

Not only individually are we being challenged this month, but as we look at the state of the nations and Israel, the chasm between those who live according to Scripture and Biblical values, and those who do not is growing deeper and wider.\u00a0\u00a0In these exciting times, what is being stirred up within you?\u00a0\u00a0Fear and uncertainty, or faith?<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0If we surround ourselves and inundate ourselves with voices of doubt and anxiety, we tend to take on those characteristics. However, if we spend more time in the Word with Adonai than we do watching mainstream media and social media controlled by Big Tech firms, naturally we will take on His characteristics and hear His voice above all others. The Light of the world has come Kingdom Family!\u00a0\u00a0Now is the time to let faith arise.\u00a0\u00a0Do not be dismayed, Adonai is moving everything into position<\/strong> so that He alone will be glorified for His namesake, not man\u2019s.<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Month of Trust, Hope, and Foolishness<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Kislev comes from the Hebrew root word that means trust or hope<\/strong>, but can also mean foolishness.\u00a0\u00a0Believe it or not these words are like a chord of three ends that cannot be easily broken.<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Trust<\/strong><\/h4>\n

As we remember every answered prayer and miracle done by Adonai in our lives,<\/strong> our trust in Him grows immensely and is the reason why every generation of Israelites is taught the mighty deeds Adonai has done for them throughout their generations.\u00a0\u00a0Every person and nation has a story, a \u201cHis\u2026tory\u201d, as well as promises yet to be fulfilled by Adonai.\u00a0\u00a0Do you TRUST the Great I Am to fulfill His Word no matter how crazy your predicament?\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0He will do it just has He has done it before.<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Hope<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Where does your hope lie?\u00a0\u00a0Is it in gold and silver?\u00a0\u00a0Job tells us, \u201cIf I have put my TRUST\u00a0and\u00a0confidence in gold, or have declared fine gold my HOPE\u00a0and\u00a0assurance\u2026\u00a0\u00a0This also would have been [a heinous] sin\u00a0calling for\u00a0judgment, for I would have denied God above\u201d<\/em> (Job 31:24, 28).\u00a0\u00a0So often we can find ourselves trying to fix an issue without ever asking the Holy Spirit Who knows the mind of the Father.\u00a0\u00a0We then put hope in our own strength and intellect instead of relying on Him.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0Imagine how that would have worked out when Israel was at the Red Sea, or at Jericho, or with Gideon\u2019s army, and the list goes on and on and on.\u00a0\u00a0Where does your hope come from?<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Foolishness<\/strong><\/h4>\n

As we look back on the events of our lives up to this very moment, it is amazing how despite ourselves the Spirit of God has somehow managed to get us where we are.\u00a0\u00a0We want it our way, we have a plan to get there, and if it doesn\u2019t go according to that plan it must not be from Adonai, right?\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Despite that being the way the vast majority ff us tend to live, it\u2019s the polar opposite of who we are in Yeshua and Him in us.<\/p>\n

We are growing out of that old mindset and into the mindset of Yeshua, \u201cFor the wisdom of this world is FOOLISHNESS (absurdity, stupidity) before God; for it is written [in Scripture], \u201c[He is]\u00a0The one who catches the wise\u00a0and\u00a0clever in their craftiness;\u201d\u00a0and again, \u201cAdonai knows the thoughts\u00a0of the [humanly] wise,\u00a0that they are useless\u201d<\/em> (1 Corinthians 3:19-20).\u00a0\u00a0Did you catch that? STUPIDITY, USELESS, the opposite of useful which means in direct opposition to the wisdom of Elohim.\u00a0\u00a0No, we are not saying that if you are humanly wise you\u2019re stupid<\/strong>, but Abba Father is.<\/p>\n

The time for looking at ourselves, everyone, and everything according to the world came to an end the day we accepted Yeshua as Lord and Savior.\u00a0\u00a0Our thinking habits of the past before we gave our lives to Adonai might still be dug in, but our identity is no longer the same.\u00a0\u00a0So let us be fools to world, useless, and stupid according the wisdom of man, so that our mindset matches our true and new identity as sons and daughters of the Most High,<\/strong> citizens of heaven walking the way Yeshua walked.\u00a0\u00a0Sound difficult?\u00a0\u00a0Not to worry Bethren!\u00a0\u00a0We have the best teacher in the Universe, the Holy Spirit, and the Written Word of YHWH to figure it all out.\u00a0\u00a0Let\u2019s be foolish this month!<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Benjamin<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The youngest son of Israel, and the only son to be born in the Promised Land, Benjamin was destined by the word of his mother Rachel who died giving birth to him, to be called \u201cSon of my Sorrow.\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0But that destiny was swiftly changed by Israel his father, and he called him, Benjamin, \u201cSon of my right hand.\u201d\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0What a picture of Yeshua!<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0To all of His disciples, Yeshua\u2019s death was to them a great sorrow, but the Father had other plans to raise Him up to His right hand.\u00a0\u00a0At first glance, when we use the 20\/20 lenses according to the world, one\u2019s destiny, and the destinies of our cities and nations look bleak.\u00a0\u00a0But when we put on the 20\/20 lenses of the Kingdom, our redemptive purpose, our true destiny shines bright and clear.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0The fallen kingdom of darkness loves to tell us what our false destiny is, as well as the destinies of our families, cities, and nations.\u00a0\u00a0This month we stop giving an ear to such lies, and start hearing, repeating, and living the truth according to Adonai.<\/p>\n

Another overlooked fact about Benjamin is that out of all of the tribes, Benjamin alone is called the Beloved of Adonai.\u00a0\u00a0When Moses prophesied over Benjamin he said,\u00a0\u00a0\u201cMay the beloved of the\u00a0Lord\u00a0dwell in safety by Him; He shields\u00a0and\u00a0covers him all the day long, and he dwells between His shoulders\u201d<\/em><\/strong> (Deuteronomy 33:12).\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Now, who is the only person in the New Testament known as the beloved of Yeshua?\u00a0\u00a0John, right? No, Lazarus was the one Yeshua loved (John 11:5), and when Yeshua wept before the tomb of Lazarus, even the people exclaimed, \u201cSee how He loved him [as a close friend]!\u201d<\/em> (John 11:35-36).\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0It goes without saying that he was also the one whom Yeshua raised from the dead.\u00a0\u00a0Imagine having already been Yeshua\u2019s best friend, then He raises you from the dead!\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0It is interesting also that the one who laid his head upon the bosom of Yeshua is also called the beloved of Yeshua, although he is not explicitly named, but assumed to be John as the title of the book is John, however that little detail is for another day.\u00a0\u00a0What matters, is now we are all the beloved of Yeshua!\u00a0\u00a0Once destined to die in our sin we our now raised to life through the death and resurrection of Yeshua Ha\u2019Mashiach.<\/p>\n

Be prepared and expectant this month to see the verdicts and decrees of the fallen kingdom of darkness overturned for your life, your family, and your nation as the Father\u2019s word is final, not the world\u2019s. Just as Lazarus\u2019 death seemed finite and a sorrowful occasion, be expectant of resurrection miracles in every area of your life<\/strong> and society that like the resurrection of Lazarus will be used to glorify God (John 11:4).<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Kesith (Sagittarius)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The constellation over Israel this month is Kesith<\/strong> which is the picture of an archer drawing a bow while sitting atop a horse, but to complete the picture in the night sky we see his arrow aimed directly at the scorpion trying to sting the heal of the man who represents Yeshua.\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0While we have now been given the authority to stomp on the heads of snakes and scorpions, Abba, Father also fights our battles<\/strong>, and destroys the secret plans of the fallen kingdom of darkness.<\/p>\n

The verse that best embodies this, and will come to pass this month is Psalm 64:7-9.\u00a0\u00a0Read this, think of a similar situation in your life, and apply it directly.\u00a0 \u201cThey encourage themselves in [their pursuit of] an evil agenda; They talk of laying snares secretly; They say, \u201cWho will discover us?\u00a0\u00a0They devise acts of injustice,\u00a0saying, \u201cWe are ready with a well-conceived plan.\u201d<\/em> For the inward thought and the heart of a man are deep (mysterious, unsearchable).\u00a0\u00a0But God will shoot them<\/strong> with an [unexpected] arrow; Suddenly they will be wounded.So they will be caused to stumble; Their own tongue is against them; All who gaze at them will shake the head [in scorn].<\/p>\n

\u201cIn Your majesty, ride out to victory<\/strong>, defending truth, humility, and justice. Go forth to perform awe-inspiring deeds! Your\u00a0arrows\u00a0are sharp,\u00a0piercing your enemies’ hearts. The nations fall beneath your feet.\u201d<\/em> (Psalm 45:4).\u00a0\u00a0The days are shortened\u00a0\u00a0and the nights grow longer and the plans of the enemy are reaching a fever pitch, but uncertainty is not our demeanour and fear is not our countenance. We have been given a Spirit of power and of love and of sound judgment<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control].\u00a0\u00a0The arrows of the Lord mighty in battles have already gone forth, and He doesn\u2019t miss.<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

9th Month<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The number 9<\/strong> is a very special number in Scripture that symbolises finality and wholeness.\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0There are 9 gifts of the Spirit and 9 Fruits of the Spirit.\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0Also, contrary to the teaching of many churches there are also 9 Beatitudes (Matthew 5:3-11).\u00a0\u00a0It was in the 9th hour that Yeshua gave up His spirit to the Father (Luke 23:44-49).\u00a0\u00a0In this 9th month, many things are coming to a head, and even though the enemy feels a victory is at hand, they couldn\u2019t be further from the truth.<\/p>\n

Now is a time to remain immovable in the promises of the King of glory.\u00a0\u00a0Let us live in the wholeness of all that has been given freely through the Blood of Yeshua.\u00a0\u00a0In what is considered the darkest month of the year when the plans of the fallen kingdom of darkness look certain to succeed,\u00a0\u00a0remember at the 9th hour when Yeshua died<\/strong> the enemy was rejoicing thinking they had won, not realising the King of glory had just used them to strike the final blow of their own defeat.\u00a0\u00a0They\u2019re short lived celebration was quashed almost immediately when Yeshua showed up in hell to preach the Gospel and take the keys of sin and death.\u00a0\u00a0They had sealed their fate with the innocent blood of the Lamb.\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0All glory was given to Adonai in that moment as it was clear the plans of man never stood a chance against the Lord of Hosts.\u00a0\u00a0Never lose hope, no matter your situation or circumstance, no matter how dire or hopeless things might seem.<\/p>\n

The God of Salvation is using even your enemies to bless you,<\/strong> and is turning them against one another as we speak.\u00a0\u00a0We must never expect things to play out the way we want them to or imagine they will.\u00a0\u00a0Joshua and Caleb were not sure how they would crush enemies<\/strong> as great as the giants or breach the massive walls of the many cities, but they knew that if Adonai said He would,<\/strong> then the how didn\u2019t matter, and the end goal would be the same as promised, victory.\u00a0\u00a0There are giants in the land these days and many of us are feeling we are in the 9th hour, even entire nations, but Adonai of Hosts never loses, and He is with us, and He has and never will break His promise.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Don\u2019t worry about the how,<\/strong> He\u2019s got that covered, but continue to be bold and courageous in the face of what seem like outstanding odds, firm in the fact that the odds are clearly stacked against the enemy who are standing against YHWH, the Creator of heaven and earth.\u00a0\u00a0The bigger the obstacle the greater the miracle.\u00a0\u00a0Get ready to see such miracles in this 9th month<\/strong> Kingdom family!<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Conclusion<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Trust is faith in action.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u201cFaith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed)\u201d<\/em> (Hebrews 11:1). \u201cThe wisdom of the world is Foolishness before Adonai\u201d<\/em> (1 Corinthians 3:19).\u00a0\u00a0All of this is contrary to our former paradigm as citizens of the world, but directly in line with our new identity as citizens of heaven.\u00a0\u00a0In this so called month of darkness we as the lights of the world are shining brighter than ever for the glory of the most High.<\/p>\n

When the world sees impossible, we see another opportunity for the King of kings to be glorified and lifted high.\u00a0\u00a0Like Benjamin we will see the Father turn a curse into a blessing, a prodigal son into the son of His right hand.\u00a0\u00a0Just like Lazarus as the beloved of Yeshua, we have not been forgotten, only positioned so that when resurrection miracles happen before those who do not believe, man will take no part in the credit, only Adonai.\u00a0\u00a0The arrows of Elohim have already been loosed<\/strong> and the enemy has moved into the crosshairs thinking they have waltzed their way to victory with each step.\u00a0\u00a0There are giants in the land, but they didn\u2019t take into account those faithful ones who believe that YHWH is Who He says He is, and never breaks a promise.\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0It is time to stand as one beloved bride of Yeshua, in the fullness of our collective calling to pave the way for the return of the King of glory.\u00a0\u00a0Let this Kislev be a rallying cry to the whole Body of Messiah<\/strong>, that the darkness cannot overcome the light, and the victory has already been won.\u00a0\u00a0Let us walk in that victory this 9th month.\u00a0\u00a0Adonai bless you and keep you Kingdom Family!<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\n\t
