Purim: Our Challenge and Invitation From Adonai<\/h3>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\n\t\t\t<\/div> \n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div> \n<\/div><\/div>\n\t\t

From sundown on the 26th to sundown on the 27th we celebrate Purim<\/strong>, preceded by a day of fasting<\/strong>. Why should we celebrate this feast?<\/em> Because it is a reminder that even when something like the genocide of the Jewish people had been officially decreed, it did not mean it was just or righteous, and it clearly was not what Adonai wanted. As we find ourselves in a similar situation today in the United States and much of the world, where decrees are being made and laws passed that are simply evil and contrary to the Word of God, are we as the Body of Messiah supposed to simply accept them as fact and move on with our lives? Should the Jewish people have just said screw it \u201cI guess God wants us all dead because an evil man decided to decree a thing treacherously, so I guess we should just let it happen?\u201d<\/em> Clearly not! Purim is a reminder<\/strong> that when we are all about to face certain judgement, it is not a time to pout, blame others, or get depressed. It is time to fast and pray<\/em><\/strong>, just as Esther called for before going to the king with her case against Haman.<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\n\t

We must ask ourselves, why did God allow Haman to make such a decree?<\/em><\/strong> Why does Abba Father allow politicians and presidents to make executive orders that mock Him like Goliath on the world stage? Why does Adonai bring us to a moment as a nation to what seems like unavoidable judgement? Perhaps, just like throughout the Bible, He is trying to get our attention on the off chance that we would turn our faith once again to Him, that He, not any man would once again be our hope and joy.<\/em> How many countless times throughout Scripture has Elohim warned His people time and time again so that they would turn back to Him? How many times have we read those Scriptures, thinking to ourselves, it is so clear! Saying, \u201cWhy can\u2019t they see it\u201d<\/strong>, as we shake our heads and scoff in disbelief at their arrogance and ignorance?<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Satan is laughing at the division within the Body of Messiah right now.<\/em> he is blaring the message of fear, confusion, hypocrisy, hate, misdirection, blasphemy, and division on the airwaves of News networks and social media like Goliath who paralysed the army of Israel with fear, convincing them they were doomed to defeat. If it had not been for David, one who actually believed God is who He says He is, perhaps 40 days of paralysis would have ended with defeat. You are being called to be a David in this moment and season. Wake up giant slayers!<\/em><\/strong> satan is trying to convince the world that good is evil and evil is good. Clearly a good majority of people, including believers, agree with him. Is that possible? Do you actually believe the evil decrees of the fallen kingdom of darkness that smear the Word of God, and YHWH Himself after professing that Yeshua is your Lord and Savior and believing the Word of God is the absolute Truth? Maybe a shaking is precisely what we need.<\/strong><\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
