Be blessed in the name of Yeshua Ha\u2019Mashiah as we enter the 4th Biblical month of Tammuz!\u00a0 This month is a month of being super free to worship the King of glory in Spirit and truth, a time more than ever to be intentional with our relationship with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.\u00a0 It is a time to check our roots as this is the beginning of the Summer Months and we must be sure that we are planted and rooted by streams of living water.\u00a0 It is a month of worshipping from the place of victory on the foundation of the death, resurrection, and ascension of Yeshua to the right hand of the Father.\u00a0 This means we worship, pray, and prophecy not for the victory, but from the victory. \u00a0 It is a month of spiritual eyes being opened, of encountering the King glory in a new way, and of standing on the promises of Elohim unflinching in the face of adversity.\u00a0 This is what the month of Tammuz is all about, but it\u2019s the opposite of what the fallen kingdom of darkness wants us to believe.\u00a0 According to Scripture, this month and the beginning of next month is a time of Israel\u2019s disobedience to Adonai, resulting in calamity and judgment.\u00a0 So how is it possible that we should expect all of the above amazing things this month if the opposite is the case in Scripture?\u00a0 The answer is simple, but can also be easy to miss amidst all of the current noise in the world at large.<\/p>\n

Vicious Cycle of Tammuz<\/b><\/p>\n

4 months have passed since the beginning of the Biblical New Year.\u00a0 In that time, nearly the whole world has been gripped in lockdown, a sharp rise in unemployment and civil unrest in many places.\u00a0 Now, as we begin this 4th Biblical month we can\u2019t help but see the glaring parallels between what happened on the Biblical timeline also happening now.\u00a0 The main difference now is that what was happening primarily to Israel in Scripture during this month is now a global event.\u00a0 In Exodus, on the 4th month of the year, Israel created a golden calf to worship, instead of YHWH, fearing Moses had died upon Mount Sinai.\u00a0 There was pandemonium and chaos as Israel worshipped the golden calf, with Exodus 32:25 clearly telling us, \u201cMoses saw that the people were out of control\u2014for Aaron had let them get out of control to the point of being an object of mockery among their enemies\u2026\u201d\u00a0 Sound familiar to the scenes we are seeing around the world?\u00a0 In the times of Israel\u2019s exile in Babylon a similar thing was happening in Jerusalem when Adonai and the 4 living creatures appeared to Ezekiel in the 4th month and showed him the idolatry of the citizens and leaders of Zion, as well as those he was exiled with (Ezekiel 1-8).\u00a0 There was complete contempt and rebellion against the Great I Am during that time.\u00a0 During the same exile in Babylon, this idolatry led to the army of King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon breaching the walls of Jerusalem on the 17th day of the 4th month (Jeremiah 39:2) before destroying the temple on the 9th of Av.\u00a0 In 70 A.D. the Temple was again destroyed on the 9th of Av by Rome.\u00a0 Starting to see a pattern?\u00a0 These tragedies are now referred to as the 3 weeks of sorrow, a time when the Jewish people, from the 17th of Tammuz to the 9th of Av enter into a time of mourning, repentance, and reflection ended by a day of fasting on the last day.\u00a0 Now the question is, for us as Believers in Yeshua, is such mourning, repentance, and reflection also expected of us? The answer is critical for the Body of Messiah in this season and the seasons to come.<\/p>\n

Solar Eclipse and Ezekiel\u2019s Trip<\/b><\/p>\n

On the eve of Rosh Chodesh of this month, a solar eclipse happened on the same day as the Summer Solstice, the time when the sun is highest in the sky and when the daylight lasts the longest.\u00a0 It was an extremely rare occurrence that speaks volumes of the times and seasons we are living in as we enter the month of Tammuz.\u00a0 The name of this month, Tammuz, is never actually mentioned in the Bible as the name of a biblical month but is, in fact, a later replacement after the Babylonian exile.\u00a0 However, Tammuz, a pagan god, is mentioned one time specifically in the book of Ezekiel when Adonai took Ezekiel by his hair and brought him in the spirit to Jerusalem (Ezekiel 8:3).\u00a0 It was there that he witnessed a woman weeping before the statue of Tammuz to the anger and disappointment of Elohim, and was then taken to witness the leaders of Jerusalem facing east away from the temple, worshipping the sun (Ezekiel 8:3-13).\u00a0 The solar eclipse is a reminder to all of us that worshipping creation is just plain stupid when instead the Creator is saying come up here!\u00a0 Anyone who was planning on worshipping the sun during the summer solstice on the eve of this month in any of the dozens of countries where the eclipse was visible must have been wondering why the sun would let itself be overshadowed by the moon 400 times smaller than itself.\u00a0 Truly though, many people who worship the sun also worship satan, known as lucifer before being thrown down to earth by Adonai.\u00a0 His name used to mean \u201cmorning star\u201d, hence the worship of the sun as well.\u00a0 Once again, worshipping the creation rather than the Creator.\u00a0 Instead of putting our faith in creation let us take a look at the greatest of all examples who make those who worship the sun, moon, and stars just forget it altogether and follow his lead.\u00a0 Joshua said, \u201cSun, stand still at Gibeon, and moon, in the Valley of Aijalon.\u201dSo the sun stood still, and the moon stopped until the nation [of Israel] took vengeance upon their enemies\u201d (Joshua 10:13).\u00a0 We are being called to be Joshua\u2019s whose strength lies solely in the Great I Am, so much so, He will stop even the sun and the moon for our enemies to be defeated.\u00a0 No situation is impossible with the great I Am, and that should be declared with a lion\u2019s roar and a shofar blast now more than ever!\u00a0 As many of us are seeing what seems like impossible situations and circumstances, our stance is not that of the world, instead, knowing difficult times simply means greater miracles and testimonies of how the King of glory made the impossible possible and how the supernatural has become the natural.\u00a0 Enough is enough of status quo theory and theology not backed up by the manifest power of the Living King in our lives.\u00a0 Adonai will stop the sun and moon for you, so are you asking, believing, and expecting at His level, or are you settling for your own level? The bar is being raised, but are we rising with the times?<\/p>\n

The Forgotten Remnant<\/b><\/p>\n

Despite the somewhat depressing nature of the 4th month, there is a silver lining that we simply cannot ignore that is the antithesis of what the fallen kingdom of darkness wants us as believers to do and be.\u00a0 Everyone seems to remember the golden calf being worshipped, but forget those who refused to worship the idol when Moses said \u201cWhoever is on Adonai\u2019s side, come to Me!\u00a0 And all the sons of Levi [the priestly tribe] gathered together to him\u201d (Exodus 32:26-27). Don\u2019t forget that even though he was in Jerusalem at the time of its being burned down, Instead of death, the prophet Jeremiah was spared from the destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple.\u00a0 Also, as we have seen, prophet Ezekiel who was living in exile with his fellow Jews that Adonai Himself called stubborn and obstinate (Ezekiel 3:7) had the most unimaginable encounter with the four living creatures and the great I Am upon his throne in His glory, not just once but twice!\u00a0 Lastly, the firstborn son of Jacob, Reuben the namesake of the tribe represented by the 4th month of the Biblical Calendar, is a misunderstood and often forgotten character that is a life full of compassion, mistakes, and redemption.\u00a0 He was the brother who saved Joseph\u2019s life by telling his brothers to put him in the pit instead of killing him, thinking he would come back later to release him.\u00a0 He was the only brother grieved that Joseph had been taken into slavery.\u00a0 He then makes the infamous decision to sleep with Jacob\u2019s concubine, essentially causing him to lose his inheritance (Genesis 35:21-22).\u00a0 But we then see him once again at the time of unknowingly re-uniting with Joseph in Egypt telling Jacob that on the lives of his two sons he will bring back Benjamin whom they had left as collateral in Egypt (Genesis 42:37). \u00a0 Reuben, though not perfect, did not let his mistakes make him waver in his calling, and because of this, when Israel finally crossed the river Jordan into the promised land, Reuben was granted his inheritance in the promised land.\u00a0 Reuben learned from the mistakes of the past, and just like Reuben, this month is crucial for all of us to put our bad habits and former mistakes behind us, instead, focusing on the promise that lies ahead of us.\u00a0 What a pleasure it is to be ones who love Him, as He makes all things work together for our good (Romans 8:28).\u00a0 Even if you are the 1\/12th outcast minority like the Levites, are in the middle of a war zone, or in exile, or the one brother out of many who dares defy the rest, all things work together for the good of those who love Him. \u00a0 Even though these people and instances lack attention from the world in the times of trouble associated with this month, they are speaking directly to you!\u00a0 You are not a minority when the King of the Universe has your back, nor should conflict or displacement make us think that somehow Adonai no longer has our best interests at heart.\u00a0 1 against a billion with Yeshua at the side of the 1 is not fair for the billion.\u00a0 He is going to war for you as you adore Him, and it\u2019s a guaranteed win.<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\n\t

Constellation of Tammuz<\/b><\/p>\n

Just like we saw with worshipping the sun and moon, worshipping the stars is equally as stupid as they are part of Abba\u2019s creation and not the Creator.\u00a0 Scripture does tell us however that they were created \u201cto separate the day from the night and serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years\u201d(Genesis 1:14). \u00a0 The Hebrew word for both cancer and most commonly crab, is Sartan.\u00a0 The Bible tells us crab is unclean to eat in Leviticus 9:12, but even we ourselves are unclean without the Blood of the Lamb.\u00a0 Our reality now is that we are forgiven and made clean, we are no longer defined by what was, but instead refined by what we have done and gone through.\u00a0 We are kosher crabs now, and like the crab, we are called to live in the deep places of God, the Holy Spirit, the presence of the Eternal that is always certain and without doubt, always comforting and without worry, always hopeful and without fear.\u00a0 Just like the crab with its natural armor, this month we must never forget the full armor of God that protects us from the lies of the principalities, powers, and the dark forces of this world, and putting our heavenly arsenal into proper use to destroy the enemy at every turn.\u00a0 We will not lose faith at the last minute as the Hebrews did at Mount Sinai with the golden calf, reverting back to old ways.\u00a0 We as Believers, the light of the World, are not, and refuse to be, quitters.\u00a0 \u201cBlessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that Adonai has promised to those who love him\u201d (James 1:12).\u00a0 This is your month of breakthrough, a time to shine in the darkness as a witness and messenger of the King of kings, not only for people to see but for people to receive for free which was given freely to us.\u00a0 Miracles in family relationships, finances, living situations, complete healing of the body, mind, and soul.\u00a0 Eye to eye with Yeshua\u2019s eyes that are like blazing torches, away from the noise of the world and in the presence of perfect love.\u00a0 What is He seeing for you that He wants you to see?\u00a0 Eyes on His and ears for His promises alone.\u00a0 Deaf to what is happening above the water, sunk deep to the bottom of the ocean of His love, His living waters is where your treasures lie.\u00a0 Undisturbed by the winds and waves, but comforted by the warm embrace of YHWH Who has said to you, \u201cYou are Mine\u201d is where he wants us to spend time.<\/p>\n

Prince of the Air and Times of Deception<\/b><\/p>\n

In order not to be deceived by the enemy, let\u2019s not only think in terms of the spiritual.\u00a0 Today, unlike any other time in history, the level of information and misinformation we have at our fingertips, and the number of voices and opinions we hear on a daily basis is literally 24\/7.\u00a0 As that is the case, an important question to ask ourselves is how much the opinions of mainstream media and social media affect and shape our prayer life and how we view the world and the situation we find ourselves in?\u00a0 How much does it affect our walk with the Holy Spirit?\u00a0 Unfortunately, this is the direction of the question when really we should be asking, How much is my walk with the Holy Spirit affecting how I perceive the world instead of the other way around.\u00a0 Satan is referred to as the Prince of the air, and that should give us pause when we consider the medium that all information travels through to make it to our eyeballs.\u00a0 If we are spending more time in the news and social media than with the Great I Am, it wouldn\u2019t be difficult to surmise that whichever one we focus on more will naturally be what shapes our paradigm.\u00a0 Just take a quick look at the owners of all of the major media outlets in your country and around the world, and ask yourself if you trust them to give you the whole truth and nothing but the truth devoid of bias and without an angle.\u00a0 Sounds ridiculous right?\u00a0 The One who is the Way the Truth and the Life is the only One Who will never deceive us or lead us astray, whilst the enemy is trying to do the exact opposite.\u00a0 This month we are being called to see through one lens only, the lens of heaven.\u00a0 It is better than glasses and laser eye surgery and allows us to see the year 2020 according to the heavenly 20\/20 instead of the world\u2019s.\u00a0 We are being called to the ear doctor of heaven to get the earwax cleaned out in order to hear the voice of Adonai more clearly instead of the phone, computer, or TV. \u00a0 One thing you can be certain of is that the nations who support Israel, and especially Israel itself will always be the most attacked and vilified by the Prince of the air, and those who stand upon the convictions of the Truth of the Word of God will be the ones called intolerant and irrelevant.\u00a0 Don\u2019t believe us, just look and see.\u00a0 It is good to be informed, but the lens and ears through which we see it and hear it are the most important.<\/p>\n

Conclusion<\/b><\/p>\n

With all of the despair and destruction that happens in the Biblical timeline and is happening right now around the world, we’re being told, even by many believers that this can\u2019t possibly be the month of worship like David worshipped, of spiritual eyes being opened, and new encounters with the King of glory.\u00a0 What does the Holy Spirit and the Word say? As citizens of heaven and co-heirs with Yeshua at the right hand of the Father, the real question is how can it not be so? As warriors of Christ risen where are our feet planted?\u00a0 On what foundation do we fight? \u00a0 Our very nature and reality as being re-born of the baptism of water and the Holy Spirit gives us a clear heavenly paradigm and inheritance.\u00a0 It would be different if Yeshua was dead, but He is not! Yeshua is alive!!!\u00a0 While we must be aware of what has come to pass, and clear about what led Israel into those previous times of judgment, this should focus our eyes in this time toward the living temple, not the destroyed one.\u00a0 As temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19) we should take these lessons to heart, to remember not to serve the gods of our previous captivity.\u00a0 Question: Are we worshipping things that are defiling our relationship with the Holy Spirit Who lives in us and with Yeshua Who said He will never leave us or forsake us? Yes, clean the temple, not in order to mourn, but to worship in spirit and truth!\u00a0 As living temples, we don\u2019t need a specified place to worship the Father in spirit and truth, just as Yeshua told the Samaritan woman at Jacob\u2019s well (John 4:21-26).\u00a0 It\u2019s temple cleaning time, a time to get in the zone, our home before the throne!<\/p>\n

The vicious cycle of Tammuz is no longer ours to inherit, and the worship of false idols and the created things in the heavenly places is no longer our lot.\u00a0 We are the remnant often overlooked and looked down upon by the world, but thankfully our faith is not in the world, but in YHWH Nissi, the Lord our Banner who fights our battles no matter how numerous and impossible.\u00a0 Is it better to be known by the world or known by Adonai?\u00a0 We are the once unclean made clean, former servants of the prince of this world, now servants, friends, sons and daughters of the King of kings.\u00a0 He is a permanent resident of our house, the living temple of the Holy Spirit, and we are also citizens of heaven where Yeshua lives.\u00a0 As crabs transformed by the blood of Yeshua our treasure no longer lies in the world, but in the heavenly places, in the place, Yeshua has gone to prepare for us.\u00a0 The Prince of the air continues to lie, deceive, steal, kill, and destroy, and that should not come as a surprise.\u00a0 Through our old glasses and contact lenses, and our old hearing aid given to us by the world these things were hard to see and discern, but with our news eyes and new ears from Adonai what was once hidden is now made clear.\u00a0 Therefore why should we fear when the Creator of heaven and earth is where our eyes focus and our ears hear.\u00a0 His eyes like fire and His voice like many waters erase the tears and wash away the fears.\u00a0 Let His love embrace you this month with your worship joining the angels with their harps and lyres.\u00a0 A new sound arises in the earth above the tumult and the fear, a remnant like lions with no fear releasing a great shout and roar and cheer!\u00a0 The enemy trembles, lashes out, and jeers because they sense the end is near.\u00a0 Stand fast, stand strong, be bold and courageous, and always ask the question whom shall I fear? (Psalm 27).<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\n\t
