The hype and talk of Israel’s annexation of the West Bank, meaning the Jordan Valley and Judea and Samaria, is at an all time high. Unfortunately, it is causing much division not just in the world, but in the Body of Messiah in particular. We believe this is playing right into the hand of the fallen kingdom of darkness, when instead we should be in one accord according to the Word of Adonai. As the Great I Am knows and declares the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:10), and Scripture tells us the end from the beginning, we too have the great privilege and opportunity to come into agreement with the heart of the Father by declaring and decreeing that which is written. This is not a political statement, but a Biblical one. The Bible clearly tells us that the Promised Land is just that, a promise of the Most High to Israel, a promise that has not lost its strength or authenticity over time. YHWH is not One that He would lie. The boundaries of that Land are clear (Genesis 15:18-21), and we know the covenant was not made null and void because it is written that Israel after being scattered to the nations will return (Deuteronomy 30:2-4). The fullness of the restoration of Israel is foretold and written, so why do we as believers so often oppose it? It will come to pass and we can do nothing to stop it, and why would we want to as it is the will of Elohim? The deed of the Land was given by the King of kings Himself, and it was distributed to Israel according to His will.
Bnei-Yisrael, “How long will you be slack about going in to possess the land which Adonai, the God of your fathers, has given you? Joshua 18:3. “Go and walk through the land and describe it, then return to me, and I will cast lots for you here before Adonai in Shiloh.” Joshua 18:8. So the men went, passing through the land, and described it in a scroll, town by town, in seven parts. Then they came to Joshua at the camp at Shiloh. Joshua 18:9. Then Joshua cast lots for them in Shiloh before Adonai, and there Joshua apportioned the land to Bnei-Yisrael according to their divisions. Joshua 18:10. So let us pray in one accord in this critical moment aligning with the will of Hashem for the complete restoration of the Land promised to Israel which they have returned to as it is written would come to pass. If the Great I Am tells you He is going to give you a million dollars are you going to start bothering Him about the details of how, or just say yes and amen? How Abba Father will go about restoring completely the land of Israel is up to Him, and it will be done, but as for us as His children, our hearts cry should always be “Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven”, and clearly it is the Father’s will that Israel be completely restored. On that we can all agree as believers, so let that be our prayer and declaration according to Scripture for the complete restoration of Eretz Israel that was promised by the Creator of heaven and earth. It means nothing less than the fulfillment of Ezekiel 36 and the coming closer of the return of Yeshua! Let us not encourage Israel to be slack in possessing the Land which Adonai, the God of Israel, has given to Israel as Joshua said, but instead encourage it according to the promises of YHWH. God bless Israel and its complete restoration, not annexation, but restoration. Shabbat Shalom.
