It was another day of prophetic mapping in the sprawling capitol city of New Delhi that brought us to more key places in the Spirit.\u00a0 Even though we were just visitors in the nation of India the Holy Spirit led us to use these couple of days to cover the city in prayer, to take the city for the LORD.\u00a0 How important it is to take our cities and declare them a holy habitation of the King of Kings and His angels.\u00a0 As we declare the Word of God and lift up altars of worship in Spirit and in Truth, the fallen kingdom of darkness is forced to retreat, as we welcome the Kingdom of Glory.\u00a0 As the spiritual atmosphere is cleansed, the physical atmosphere also changes from one of captivity to an atmosphere of freedom.\u00a0 It is not enough, however that we do this only once, but that there is also those that come after us to continue cleansing the atmosphere.\u00a0 We see that after Abraham\u2019s death, that the Philistines stopped up the wells which he had dug.\u00a0 Not until Isaac came and re-dug the wells were they in use again (Genesis 26:18).\u00a0 In the same way, we must continuously maintain the atmospheres of our cites and nations lest the wells be stopped up by the enemy.<\/p>\n

Speaking of re-digging ancient wells, the first place that the Holy Spirit led us that day was one of the ancient wells of New Delhi, called Agrasen Ki Baoli, a step well that was repaired in the 14th century.\u00a0 If legend is correct however, it was founded by King Agrasen who lived over 5,000 years ago.\u00a0 After walking down a few backroads away from the noise of the city, we came to the ancient step well.\u00a0 We first prayed at the top of the steps leading down to the water, clearing the way in the Spirit, allowing for the angels of the Lord to go before us.\u00a0 Upon reaching the small entrance at the bottom of the steps, we declared that as we are the salt of the earth, the bitter waters be sweet.\u00a0 Just as Elisha healed the bitter waters of Jericho with salt, we also healed the bitter waters there both in the physical and the Spirit.\u00a0 As we speak, Abba\u2019s living water flows from our mouths, making that which was once unclean, clean.\u00a0 \u201cWhoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them\u201d (John 7:38). \u00a0 Many people come to this step well even today as a place to gather with friends and have fellowship.\u00a0 As we change the atmosphere with prayer and worship, the people that frequent these places are also changed even though they may not realize it in the moment.\u00a0 Instead of demonic forces stopping up the wells, creating more desert, we must re-dig the ancient wells, so that the people may drink of the Living Waters of the Prince of Peace.\u00a0 We ourselves must be in alignment with the heart and mind of Yeshua, so that we do not become a dry and desolate land, impacting the people around us in a negative way.\u00a0 We must be in a constant state of repairing and expanding the walls of the well of Living Water residing within us, so that we can be an extension of Jesus to those around us.\u00a0 We finalized our prayer at the water with a great shout of joy and victory that echoed off the walls before ascending the steps and heading to the next stop.<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\n\t

From the ancient well we went to the Rashtrapati Bhavan or Presidents Palace.\u00a0 It is a colossal building with 340 rooms that is placed in a direct line with the India Gate.\u00a0 The building marks the end of the Rajpath or King\u2019s Way that begins at the India Gate.\u00a0 Walking down the King\u2019s Way toward the palace, we first made our way to the two building flanking us to the right and left before arriving to the palace building.\u00a0 The first building to our left houses the ministry of Defense, a very key ministry in charge of the defense of the nation, where we prayed for the military leaders, that they would be aligned with God\u2019s perfect strategy for India, and that they receive Yeshua as their Lord and Savior of their lives.\u00a0 We then crossed the Rajpath to the building opposite to us which was the Ministry of Finance.\u00a0 From the front of this building we prayed that as the finance of the nation comes from the people, that it would be handled and spent in a just and proportionate way that best serves the people of India, and that any corrupt officials be brought to light.\u00a0 From these two very important institutions, a nation can either be brought down or raised up.\u00a0 As we passed the security guards sitting by the gate leading to the President\u2019s palace, they stopped us short, telling us that tourists could go no further.\u00a0 We understood of course, and as we pray from the heavenly places, we knew that this was close enough.\u00a0 \u201cAnd God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus\u201d (Ephesians 2:6).\u00a0 We stood aligned with the center of the gate leading onto the grounds of the enormous palace, and from there we began to declare the Living Word, shaper than any two edged sword, over the palace that represents the leaders of the nation, both the Prime Minister and the President.\u00a0 We declared Psalm 89:14 over the palace, declaring that justice and righteousness shall be the foundations of the nation, and that any hidden corruption or evil will be revealed, \u201cFor there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open\u201d (Luke 8:17).\u00a0 All three of us prayed in turn as the Holy Spirit led us, oblivious of the onlookers around us, as the The Spirit of the Lord put words in our mouths. \u00a0 As we came to a close, we gave the Father all the glory before heading off to our last destination just down the road, parliament.<\/p>\n

We arrived to the front of the Parliament building just a few later, ready to finish the mission that the Holy Spirit had sent us on.\u00a0 We were expecting that there would be little interference as we took authority in the Spirit standing in front of the house of parliament, but we quickly found that was not the case.\u00a0 As soon as we began to pray, men began to come up to us asking for a picture or just stood in front of us, inches away, staring coldly at us as we proceeded declaring the Word of God with our hands outstretched toward this essential institution of government.\u00a0 We felt the presence of the Spirit of the Lord and His angels, and had no fear of the men standing before us, knowing that we were in the right place at the right time.\u00a0 After about five minutes, we finished declaring and prophesying what we were receiving in the Spirit, and simply walked away from the crowd that had gathered around us.\u00a0 All the glory goes to God, for He certainly fought our battles that day, and many a stronghold was torn down in the name of Jesus.<\/p>\n

What wells need to be re-dug in your lives that we filled in long ago, thinking that surely the promise was too big or dreams too unreachable?\u00a0 What strongholds remain a hinderance in our own lives that need to be brought down?\u00a0 Just as we as individuals must think on these things, we must also think in such a way as a corporate Body of Christ, re-digging the ancient wells of those who have come before us and tearing down strongholds from within and without.\u00a0 This sounds good on paper, but its implementation is often times uncomfortable, but our Lord is not called the Comforter for no good reason.\u00a0 When we seek His face, we allow ourselves to be stretched, pruned and refined, so that we can better know the heart of the Father and fulfill what it written about each one of us in the books of heaven.\u00a0 \u201cTake My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest for yourselves. For My yoke is easy, and My burden light\u201d (Matthew 11:29-30).\u00a0 He would not say it if He didn\u2019t mean it.\u00a0 Sometimes we tend to be a stumbling block to ourselves, and the time has come that we let Yeshua remove that stone form the path.<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\n\t
