Iyar<\/strong> comes just after the month of Redemption when YHWH took the Israelites out of Egypt during Pesach, the exact same days that nearly 3,500 years later Yeshua was crucified, died, and resurrected on Passover in Jerusalem.<\/em> It comes before the month of Revelation when Elohim gave the Torah to Moses on Mount Sinai,<\/strong> and on the same day nearly 3,500 years later when the 300 were baptized in the Holy Spirt on Shavuot<\/em><\/strong> (Pentecost) in Jerusalem. What is not often talked about however is that Iyar is the month when Adonai is courting His bride and reminding us now to take a hint because He is pulling out all the stops this month to make sure we know Him better and more intimately<\/strong> than ever before as He prepares us for this new season of promise.<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Revelation<\/h3>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

This month in the Exodus the entirety of Exodus 15 to 18 plays out in extraordinary fashion as God reveals Himself to Israel<\/strong> like never before just as is to us today if we choose to take the step out of Egypt (old mindset) and into the promised land (co-heirs with Yeshua). On this journey He is forcing us to understand that from Him are all things and for His children He provides all and more that is needed. During this month Adonai reveals Himself differently 4 separate times to Israel as YHWH RAPHA<\/em><\/strong> (The Lord Who Heals You), YHWH YIR\u2019EI<\/strong> (The Lord Our Provider), YHWH ROHI<\/em> <\/strong>(The Lord Our Shepherd), and YHWH NISSI<\/strong> (The Lord Our Banner). Each time, Adonai is proving Himself to His would be bride that He can take care of her<\/strong> and nurture her unlike any other false god that they had before them in Egypt.<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

He is walking Israel down the aisle so to speak and just like before a traditional Jewish wedding the Katubah<\/strong> (wedding vows)<\/em> are being written and in this case proven to be true. Yeshua is reminding us of His wedding vows to His bride<\/em><\/strong> over our lives this month, asking if we remember all that He has done, but also reminding us of the great promises that are still to come.<\/strong> This month, Yeshua is shattering false thinking, unraveling misleading paradigms, and tearing down the veils of deception over your life!<\/em> He is revealing Himself to you in ways He never has before, and the enemy is terrified of your new understanding..<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\n\t

Yeshua appeared many times to His disciples<\/em><\/strong> over the 40 day period after His resurrection, revealing Himself both physically to them, but also throughout Scripture from Exodus all the way through the books of the Prophets. He appeared at their lowest moments, even hiding His identity at times, and almost always gathering with them over a meal. Just as Israel\u2019s time in the wilderness He was revealing Himself<\/strong> once again reassuring them and preparing them for what was to come and His eventual return for His bride.<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

This Iyar is a month of visitation and preparation<\/strong> for the Jubilee day that is on its way. As we remember the counting of the Omer which happens every day of this month in remembrance of the manna given to Israel in the wilderness, of the reaping of the harvest, and the bread, the body of Yeshua that was broken for us, we count down the days until Shavuot<\/em><\/strong> (Pentecost). Just as the Jubilee year is every fiftieth year, 7 X 7 years, so to do we count 7 X 7 weeks in the run up to Shavuot. Iyar is the only Biblical month where each and every day this is done, making it especially significant as the jubilee of weeks draws nearer. Position yourself for your encounters with Adonai this month, be ready and expectant of new revelation that prepares you for this new season ahead,<\/strong> and remember the promise of Yeshua that He has fulfilled through the baptism of the Holy Spirit not to neglect the very Spirit of God within you who knows the very thoughts of the Father. Just as the women at the empty tomb of Yeshua be ready for angelic encounters this Iyar,<\/em><\/strong> and if people don\u2019t believe you when it happens let Yeshua Himself be the one to break the news to them while you give glory to Adonai in this presence of His heavenly hosts.<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

You are not be restored to your previous position, circumstances, and situation this month, but restored to what is promised about you by God since before you were in your mother\u2019s womb. As we remember that it was during this month in history that Solomon laid the foundation of the First Temple (1 Kings 6:37), and this month being the celebration of Yom Ha\u2019atzmaut<\/strong> (Israeli Independence) on Iyar 5 and Yom Yerushalayim,<\/em><\/strong> the Reunification of the Old City of Jerusalem into Israel on Iyar 28, we can be rest assured that He remembers His promises over us as well. All of these events and celebrations speak of the fulfillment of Abba\u2019s promises<\/strong> and the consequential healing and restoration of Israel and the healing, restoration and transformation you are stepping into. New everything is being restored to you mentally, physically, and spiritually according to the promises for God over your life.<\/em> Shrug off the past lies and deceptions the fallen kingdom of darkness had convinced you of, ask the Holy Spirit to wash your eyes and ears afresh for every deception still in effect to fall away and be replaced with the Truth of Almighty God,<\/strong> and He will do it.<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

This Iyar God is remembering you,<\/strong> but not because He somehow forgot you, no, in the Hebrew the word is Zakar.<\/em><\/strong> This word refers not to a mental act of remembering something, but is instead a direct action as a result of remembering. It does not mean God has forgotten about us, but that He is about to act on our behalf. Everytime God is mentioned as remembering a person or Israel in general it is followed by swift action on behalf of them. We are living in a time of great uncertainty in the world<\/strong> when evil and darkness is spreading quickly, when good is being called evil and evil good, but Iyar is the time when Yeshua Himself is remembering us and reminding us of the certainty of His love, His presence, His names, His power,<\/em> and the fact that He is in us and we are in Him. Just as Yeshua ate with His disciples on many occasions after His resurrection He is bringing us back to the table with Him to reassure us and remind us of who He has called us to be, what He has given us authority to do,<\/em><\/strong> and what is still to come so that even as everything that can be shaken is shaken, we will be able to stand as the light of the world and the salt of the earth which darkness cannot overcome.<\/p>\n

Habakkuk 1:5<\/strong> is unfolding in the earth right now that says, \u201cLook among the nations! See! Be astonished! Wonder! For I am doing something in your days\u2014You would not believe it if you were told.\u201d<\/em> Great and wonderful things and terrible things as well, but it is for us not to waiver and to learn what it really means to be in one\u2019s with Yeshua and as His body together.<\/p>\n

As He remembers us, we are being reminded that His timing is perfect, His plan is perfect, He is perfecting us, and even though it may seem like their is delay, to remember Habakkuk 2:3<\/strong> which says,
\n\u201cFor the vision is yet for the appointed [future] time. It hurries toward the goal [of fulfillment]; it will not fail. Even though it delays, wait [patiently] for it, because it will certainly come; it will not delay.”<\/em><\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Just as Yeshua was resurrected<\/strong> on the morning of the third day as He had promised, we must never be doubters of God but always watchmen on the walls waiting and looking toward the horizon just as Yeshua\u2019s disciples were told to do in Jerusalem before He ascended to the right hand of the Father. May this Iyar be the aisle to the altar of Yeshua our Bridegroom,<\/strong> and remembrance of His vows to us us and us to Him. We have entered a time of great revelation, encounter, restoration<\/em><\/strong> and of God remembering His people. He will not delay.
