The town is made up of mostly people who are historically of <em>Moroccan Jewish descent.<\/em><\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"img-with-aniamtion-wrap center margin_top_tablet_3pct margin_top_phone_3pct \" data-max-width=\"100%\" data-max-width-mobile=\"default\" data-border-radius=\"none\" data-shadow=\"none\" data-animation=\"fade-in\"  style=\"margin-top: 3%; \">\r\n      <div class=\"inner\">\r\n        <div class=\"hover-wrap\" data-hover-animation=\"none\"> \r\n          <div class=\"hover-wrap-inner\">\r\n            <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"img-with-animation skip-lazy \" data-delay=\"0\" height=\"424\" width=\"674\" data-animation=\"fade-in\" src=\"https:\/\/vdd7.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/vdd7_kiryat_map.jpg\" alt=\"kiryat shmona\" srcset=\"https:\/\/vdd7.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/vdd7_kiryat_map.jpg 674w, https:\/\/vdd7.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/vdd7_kiryat_map-300x189.jpg 300w, https:\/\/vdd7.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/vdd7_kiryat_map-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (min-width: 1450px) 75vw, (min-width: 1000px) 85vw, 100vw\" \/>\r\n          <\/div>\r\n        <\/div>\r\n      <\/div>\r\n    <\/div>\r\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element \" >\r\n\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\r\n\t\t<p align=\"justify\">The translation of the name of the town is <strong>\u201cTown of the eight\u201d<\/strong> named after 8 Jewish militiamen and women killed during <em>the Franco Syrian war<\/em> in the 1920\u2019s who defended the nearby town which was at the time called <em><strong>Tel Hai.<\/strong><\/em> To this day, as it is the closest major town by <em>the Lebanon border<\/em> it is always one of the first and most concentrated areas of rocket attacks from Hamas just across the border in Lebanon.<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element \" >\r\n\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\r\n\t\t<p align=\"justify\">The leader of the 6 men and 2 women who died in the conflict, <strong>Captain Trumpeldor<\/strong> was severely wounded and died after several hours. He is traditionally credited with having said before dying <strong>&#8220;No matter, it is good to die (tov lamut) for our country&#8221;<\/strong> <em><strong>(&#8220;\u05d0\u05d9\u05df \u05d3\u05d1\u05e8, \u05d8\u05d5\u05d1 \u05dc\u05de\u05d5\u05ea \u05d1\u05e2\u05d3 \u05d0\u05e8\u05e6\u05e0\u05d5&#8221;)<\/strong> <\/em>words which in Zionist and Israeli collective memory remain closely associated with the names <em>&#8220;Trumpeldor&#8221;<\/em> and <em>&#8220;Tel Hai&#8221;.<\/em><\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"img-with-aniamtion-wrap center margin_top_tablet_3pct margin_top_phone_3pct \" data-max-width=\"100%\" data-max-width-mobile=\"default\" data-border-radius=\"none\" data-shadow=\"none\" data-animation=\"fade-in\"  style=\"margin-top: 3%; he giveth beautiful words\u201d<\/em> <\/strong>(Gen. 49:21).<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"img-with-aniamtion-wrap center margin_top_tablet_3pct margin_top_phone_3pct \" data-max-width=\"100%\" data-max-width-mobile=\"default\" data-border-radius=\"none\" data-shadow=\"none\" data-animation=\"fade-in\"  style=\"margin-top: 3%; There the heroic deeds of some tribes during the battle with Jabin\u2019s Canaanite forces are celebrated. It is interesting to note that Barak was from<strong> the tribe of Naphtali<\/strong> (Jud. 4:6), and the tribe is singled out in the song because of its special bravery. <em>\u201cZebulun and Naphtali were a people who jeoparded their lives unto the death in the high places of the field\u201d<\/em> (Jud. 5:18).<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element \" >\r\n\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\r\n\t\t<p align=\"justify\">Another application of this interesting prophecy may also be possible. When Yeshua began <strong>His ministry in Galilee,<\/strong> Matthew 4:13-15 states that He called His disciples in the region of the tribe of Naphtali. The book of Romans speaks about two different types of feet. Romans 3:15 condemns the feet that <strong><em>\u201care swift to shed blood.\u201d<\/em><\/strong> On the other hand, Romans 10:15 commends those who preach the Gospel in these words: <em>\u201cHow beautiful are the feet of them that preach the Gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!\u201d<\/em> What a contrast, and what a lesson to us who are followers of Yeshua. Are our feet as swift to tell someone about the Gospel as they are swift to share some damaging gossip?<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"img-with-aniamtion-wrap center protection of the people of <strong>Kiryat Shmona<\/strong> we remember its history and great promise in Scripture as part of the territory where many of the disciples of Yeshua carried the good news of the Gospel of peace, and that it may once again be <em><strong>re-activated<\/strong><\/em> and <strong><em>re-ignited<\/em><\/strong> as a center of <strong>the Gospel going forth into all of Israel once more for the glory of Adonai.<\/strong> We pray that instead of a place of contention, it will be a place of peace and shalom where conflicts are settled instead of hashed out known once more for the miracles signs and wonders that the sons and daughters of God bring swiftly in the mighty name of Yeshua. <em>Adonai bless you and keep
