And He Assembled<\/h4>\n

In the previous Parashat Moses had just come down from Mount Sinai for the third and final time, he assembled Israel, and was about to instruct them again on the commandments they were to follow. In large part in this Parashat (Exodus 35:1-38:20)<\/em> Moses begins again with the importance of keeping Shabbat<\/strong> (sabbath)<\/em> holy and to rest on the seventh day.<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\n\t

It is a very special beginning to our study of the Word this week, because it was during this week on March 7, 321 AD that Roman Emperor Constantine I issued a civil decree making Sunday a day of rest<\/strong> from labor, stating: \u201cAll judges and city people and the craftsmen shall rest upon the venerable day of the sun.\u201d<\/em> He thereby made it illegal for Christians to rest on Shabbat<\/em><\/strong> saying it was not as venerable as Sunday<\/strong>, and made it punishable as heresy and even death if caught, referring to it as Judaizing which was also considered heresy in the church, meaning that all other feasts of the Bible were made illegal to celebrate as well.<\/em><\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

What this did over the centuries was to wean believers off of the Biblical Calendar, God\u2019s Calendar, and accept the world\u2019s calendar that quite frankly mocks Adonai\u2019s timetable. It is important to understand the clock of God<\/strong>, especially in these end times, and this week is particularly important in understanding the Biblical Clock of Adonai. This week there are actually two Parashahs because we will enter into the first month of the Biblical calendar, Nisan, when we celebrate the next Shabbat on March 13th. That means a lot of Scripture! Hallelujah! No such thing as too much of Adonai\u2019s revelation through His Word by the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Meaning, we will also be diving into Exodus 38:21-40:38 and in Tanakh we will be in Ezekiel 45:16-46:18. But what about the New Testament?<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

One of the most beautiful things in Scripture is to see how everything has come full circle since Genesis 1:1<\/em> through the death and resurrection of Yeshua up until now. 2 Corinthians 9:6-11, 1 Corinthians 3:11-18, and Hebrews 13:10<\/em> open our eyes into what was being prophesied through the Tabernacle in the desert, The Temple in Jerusalem, the sacrifices, even the implements within the temple, and the great honor and privilege we have to live in these end times as redeemed, transformed, and empowered through the blood of the Lamb and the Holy Spirit to pave the way for the return of the King of glory.<\/em> <\/strong>It was at this time of year that Yeshua and His disciples would have been preparing to go up to Jerusalem as only three weeks from now, Pesaj (Passover) will begin. Nisan, the month of the redemption of the Hebrews from the Egyptians, Nisan the month when the New Covenant between God and man was made final through the death and resurrection of the Messiah, Yeshua.<\/strong> Let\u2019s prepare well this week, the final week of the Biblical year, and be filled with knowing more about and growing closer to Yeshua through His Word. \u201cIn the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God\u201d (John 1:1)<\/em>.
