This week we read in <em>Exodus 18:1-20:23<\/em> of an awesome time in the History of Israel when the camp was put in order and Israel hears the audible voice of Adonai for the first time atop Mount Sinai. There is so much more to unpack from these three chapters, but <strong>that is for you and the Holy Spirit to hash out.<\/strong> It is imperative that we take the things that our separating us from Adonai out of our lives, and to get intentional about it this week, as well as to get with our brothers and sisters in Yeshua to help one another where there may be areas of struggle. <strong><em>Breakthrough time!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\n\t<div class=\"wpb_raw_code wpb_content_element wpb_raw_html\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<br>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/giphy.com\/embed\/zpQBxQyk4cWI26S8gQ\" width=\"480\" height=\"270\" frameBorder=\"0\" class=\"giphy-embed\" allowFullScreen><\/iframe>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\r\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element \" >\r\n\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\r\n\t\t<p align=\"justify\"><strong>We then find ourselves in <em>Isaiah 6:1-13<\/em> and wow is it awesome!<\/strong> Isaiah finds himself <em>face to face with Adonai<\/em> on His throne and he is scared to death, and says as much until the Seraphim puts the coal from the throne on<em><strong> his lips cleansing him of his sin<\/strong><\/em>. He was seeing what was most likely <strong>hidden behind the clouds at Sinai<\/strong> and hearing <em>the voice of Adonai<\/em> as they were, and when he finally gets the courage to say send me I\u2019ll go, his mission is to tell Israel your punishment for your generations of disobedience is just getting started. In comes the understanding of the remnant.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">We say it all of the time in circles of believers, but how few is a remnant. Adonai tells Isaiah only a tenth of Israel still inhabits the Land now, and that whoever is left after the next attack I am bringing, <strong>they will called the remnant<\/strong>, just the stump of a tree thoroughly chopped down <em>(Isaiah 6:13)<\/em>. By the grace of Adonai<strong><em> there is always a remnant left in the Land<\/em><\/strong> just as in the times of Elijah when He hid the 7,000. <strong><em>Are you that remnant?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"img-with-aniamtion-wrap center margin_top_tablet_3pct margin_top_phone_3pct \" data-max-width=\"100%\" data-max-width-mobile=\"110%\" data-border-radius=\"none\" data-shadow=\"none\" data-animation=\"fade-in\"  style=\"margin-top: 3%; \">\r\n      <div class=\"inner\">\r\n        <div class=\"hover-wrap\" data-hover-animation=\"none\"> \r\n          <div class=\"hover-wrap-inner\">\r\n            <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"img-with-animation skip-lazy \" data-delay=\"0\" height=\"496\" width=\"1000\" data-animation=\"fade-in\" src=\"https:\/\/vdd7.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/vdd7_Parashat_Fear_Adonai_free.jpg\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/vdd7.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/vdd7_Parashat_Fear_Adonai_free.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/vdd7.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/vdd7_Parashat_Fear_Adonai_free-300x149.jpg 300w, https:\/\/vdd7.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/vdd7_Parashat_Fear_Adonai_free-768x381.jpg 768w, https:\/\/vdd7.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/vdd7_Parashat_Fear_Adonai_free-16x8.jpg 16w\" sizes=\"auto, (min-width: 1450px) 75vw, (min-width: 1000px) 85vw, 100vw\" \/>\r\n          <\/div>\r\n        <\/div>\r\n      <\/div>\r\n    <\/div>\r\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element \" >\r\n\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\r\n\t\t<p align=\"justify\">Finally we make it to Romans 11, to a time after <strong>Yeshua has ascended<\/strong> to the right hand of the Father, and once again, <strong><em>we see the power of the remnant of the Most High<\/em><\/strong>, a remnant that birthed global revival during a time when the fastest way to get a letter to someone was by horse or ship. Oh and during a time of war and deadly persecution. That too. Paul said then to the gentiles,<em><strong> \u201cSo too then, at the present time there has come to be a remnant [a small believing minority] according to God\u2019s gracious choice\u201d<\/strong> (Romans 11:5)<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Have we found ourselves once again at a time when we can say this of ourselves? <strong><em>Are we a remnant that has the Fear (reverential awe) of YHWH, His remnant, and His holy seed (Isaiah 6:13)?<\/em><\/strong> In desperate times do we doubt Him, run from Him, feel that all is lost, or do our roots grow ever deeper in faith and knowing Him? <strong>Let\u2019s go deeper this week,<\/strong> not farther from Him, but closer, <em>dining at His table in the midst of our enemies<\/em>.
